Too Harbor Freight did away with the monthly sales and coupon book. Nothing free anymore or those 20 and 25 percent off coupons. I used to go once a month whether I needed to or not and would spend at least 20.00 unless was going for a specific item. Ever since they stopped the booklet I only go when I know they have an item that's a throw away or much cheaper than the box stores.

I’ve seen and had people come up to me and tell me not to buy various solar powered lights because they don’t work. So I’d go on over to their houses just to find out their solar panel is tucked up underneath the eaves or not placed anywhere where there isn’t any sunlight. The sad part is, most of these folks have college educations.🤔
Watch for coupons on them. I see $8.99 a lot but jumped on them when I had a $7.99 coupon. Yesterday I returned the defective one and have installed it.
Love the magnetic box idea, handy!!! Rope Light, (for an illuminated hanging?) I like the idea of lights under the carport, and what an easy way to do it.. Great ideas again.

I bought 2 of these for my porch. Batteries are crap. They only run about 4 hours on a full charge and they didn't last even 1 year. Waste of money 😡. 🇺🇸😎
That is typical of the cheap solar powered stuff. The little garden lights you stick in the ground from Dollar Tree use a AAA rechargeable. I replace the batteries and they last forever. You have to ask yourself, how can they sell me a complete light for less than the cost of a battery? It was your battery that was bad, not the rest of it.
DoingItCheap Yeah, I changed out the batteries with good rechargeable ones. Didn't make much difference in run time. Solar panel faces south with all day sun. You have to sign up for their coupons. Usually the cheap solar powered items, like the little solar lights at Dollar Tree, have the absolute cheapest and low quality rechargeable batteries out their. I have replaced the batteries with better quality ones and it is amazing the difference ! Of course this is a silly question..................... but you are putting the light in the sun so it will recharge, aren't you ?

@@DoingItCheap I just opened it up. It has an enclosed rectangular sealed box with 2 wires going to it. It doesn't opem. It looks like I will buy a new flashlight, thanks for your help.

hiya Bob, going tp H/F in the morning to get some things I bin wanting ill look for them lights , I,m the worst in that store , working on an r/v so them lights would be great , checking out the solar panels to mount on the roof or just put out when boondocking , I,m updating this r/v with wifi and all the stuff for the other half if she comes with me on my travels , I just want too get it done so its ready putting in all new flooring cabinets , should be able to boondock for at least a week or more if needed , love your vids bye the way its not that im cheap but im on a budget lol

I use their credit card. You get 5% on ALL purchases. I pay it in full and never pay interest.
