- Gujarati Khandvi (Patuli/Paturi) are tightly rolled, bite-sized snacks made using chickpea flour and yoghurt. They’re spicy, sour, slightly sweet and so delicious. Khandvi (ખાંડવી), also known as Patuli/Paturi is a popular vegetarian snack from Gujarat, western India. Serve with chai for a tasty breakfast or snack. In Maharashtrian cuisine they are known as Surali Vadi or Suralichi Wadi.

Fantastic, great recipe, made it look so simple, I love the idea of using a kitchen foil and cling film, always had difficulty rolling it out to the right thickness in the past, what a great idea, Thank you again👍🏼👌
My pleasure 😊
I disagree with the description it's nothing like pasta rolls it is what it is - like you said - it's yoghurt and chickpea rolls - deliciously yummy and uniquely Gujarati 💖

I just tried this recipe.... it crumbles when I go to roll! I followed all the steps do you have any advice lovely?
Do you have measurements in cups for your US followers? Trying to figure out the grams and it’s a little awkward.
Hi, sorry no I don’t use imperial measurements. You’ll need to look online to convert the recipe if you’d like to make it.
