Hi Adrian, I don’t mean to pump your tires too much but I have to say that your channel has changed my life in the best way possible. I am a 61 yr old that will retiring soon and moving to the Philippines. I love the predictable income stream that I will have every month. Stress free retirement! Thanks again!
Congrats! 58 yo here. Thinking of doing the same but undecided yet where (Asia or South America). Money coming in is better than looking at statement of returns on paper only. Because we don't live on paper...Cheers!
Congratulations! Thanks to my brother, who introduced me to Adian’s videos, I’m building an income investment strategy to help my wife and I semi-retire in
Future video idea: Hamilton vs Horizons. Some of the funds seem to be fairly similar for both managers. Also should we bank on Hamilton keeping Nick Piquard around? Seems like he's the driving force behind Hamilton's latest CC ETF's. As always great videos.
@@MStar10 if you want to sell 100 thousand shares you might have a problem but to sell 100 or 200 shares not a problem I don't sell so liquidity is not a issue for me
Great video! I am a retired dividend focused investor. I own individual stocks but i am thinking of swapping out some of these assets for ETFs. I am interested in the tax implications of ETFs in our RRSP, TFSA and non reg accounts. Can you point me to one of your videos that discusses this topics. Many Txs!
Video idea - If a CC fund is comprised of a strong foundation. How and why should you diversify. Financial funds have a solid foundation and pay a higher yield than non-financial funds. ie. BKCL is a bank CC ETFF that significantly out performs HHL (Healthcare). Each has a strong foundation. why invest in the lower yield offering ? what is the benefit. If a market correction hits, the capital declines impact both but the dividends are reliable on each too, why not stick with the lower yield. It isn't really a different yet you earn less..
I really like your stuff. Stupid question...To get the dividends, you have to hold the ETF during one month, one week or only the day-before they pay? Thx
We're spoiled for choice and I love it. ^_^ I feel like I should know the answer to this, but why does Yield go up when there is Downward pressure on the Canadian Banks? I know the Big 6 are famous for being Dividend Kings and raising Dividends consistently for decades, but wouldn't downward pressure decrease their Dividends and thus Yield? I'm sure the answer is so obvious I'll be kicking myself. Thanks for the vids Adrian! Tomorrow will be fun! (Sorry for the essay , _ , )
I think it’s because if banks sticks are going down and annual distribution in $ are still the same, the yield % is then going up. Let’s say stock A is worth 20$ and annual distribution is 1$, yield is 5% (1/20x100). If stock A is down to 10$ but still get 1$ annual distribution, yield is now 10%.
Hi Adriano, what do you like more BkCL or BANK did bank just raise its dividend so it’s paying about the same as the Horizons Leveraged product but Bank is more diversified because it also holds Lifco’s I’m trying to pick one because I do not wanna sell HMAX I’m leaning more towards BANK is BANK leverage?
I see new index covered call etf coming to the market and I am wondering what will hapen to the price of those covered call if there are too many available on the market. Usually the price should go down as competition will come in between etf selling those cc! Distribution should also go down....what do you think? 😁
Audio a little wonky in this one .... sorry

Thanks so much, Adrian. Very helpful.
Thanks for keeping us updated Adriano! I’m starting to wish I was in Panama as it’s getting cold & dark here now in BC 😂
I have ENCL BKCL USCL, that I continue adding to.
Great choice Joanna, I also have all three and they are the core of my portfolio.
Thanks Adrian!

I don't typically invest in new funds. I need to see how a fund performs during the downturn.
Why is the volume so low on these ETFs ? And could that be a problem?

Right on!
Bro I have already switched my CC series to CL. USCC=USCL and same for others got rid of my CNCC and bought EQCL 🙏😁🥰
What is the benefit of leverage covered call? I see yield % is less for leverage.why u chose L ? Help me

Christmas came early with these new ETFs from Horizon.
What is the true expense ratio of USCC 0.35?

i cannot say i like one over the other! i like both! they both use 25% leverage

they can always do PUTS instead. im not worried about it ,the options market is huge
Would investing in both JEPY and USCL be redundant? Or is there a difference in terms of risk?
One is in US $ and the other in Canadian $. Risk is about the same but I only buy TSX listed ETFs.
same underlying, different options strategy. also USCL is leveraged, JEPY is not
Uscc in tfsa…do i pay 15% us withholding tax ?tsx listed.i am assuming no??
no
@@PassiveIncomeInvesting thanks.thats why instead of rrsp, i am adding my income generating etf in tfsa untill the contribution room is full !
