So the lower green pots on each channel are FX sends? You are sending to an analogue tape echo? (Roland space who) Channel 8 is the echo return? Channel 8 is sending the echo back into the FX? You are riding that fader to control the infinite/ slow fade effect? Man I like how you do it with only 8 channels. The tracks must be preproduced though with such a limited setup. Did you produce them or can you buy them as stems? If you make the tracks yourself have considered selling stems for other dub producers to mash up? Sorry for all the questions. I’ve been a lifelong dub junky and just started producing.
correct. aux 1 is spring reverb send, aux 2 is tape delay ( Revox machine ) returning channel 8 so I can feedback by using aux 2 on itself to get correct level of feedback/repeats. the more you push the fader the more delay repeats you get. DUB IT !!!!!!!!
Question is this one complete track that's been eq'd to solo/emphasize instruments (eqing out highs, lows to different tracks) or are they actually different instruments on different tracks (kick on 1, snare on 2, bass on 3, etc)? I've wanted to know how to dub songs from the originals like King Tubby

Not to question the man too much, but if you use the faders more as just mute switches...why not just use the mutes and not the faders?

So the channel fades in and out, and doesn't go straight from 100% to 0%. The change isn't as abrupt when using faders.
@@slushedpuppy8044 correct! Also dont forget, clicks and pops usually occur with buttons
He s using send and return effects not only volume faders
faders are smoother, on / off switch is really abrupt, try it just with your radio in the car sometime, you will hear a huge difference.
