Fossil Hunting for Ammonites at Lake Texoma

- We made our first trip to Lake Texoma to search the cretaceous era, duck creek formation for ammonite fossils.
After much research and planning, we arrived to find we could not access the locations we wanted so we ended up scouting around. It turned out well and we found some great fossils including ammonites, oysters, clams and echinoids.

@@TheFossilFiend You won’t be disappointed,the best spots for Ammonites are North Yorkshire,Jurassic Coast ,and the Isle of Wight .Have a look at UK Fossils (Locations) gives a lot of info on the best spots .I have subscribed to your channel looking forward to more videos.👍
I'm going to Yorkshire tomorrow to hopefully find some ammonites, I've had some really nice stuff.
It's definitely worth a visit if you're ever in the UK.
