Great article Jack. Hope it encourages more people to dabble in a true one wheel. Here's a "cheater hack" that I would do. That's an easy baby step to further reduce falls and give you more control. That is to strap the wheel to the frame, so that the wheel does not rotate. The the rider can just focus on: 1. Pure overall balance. 2. Holding onto the saddle, because there's a lot of rotation and torque that can break wrists. 3. Learning to land on the wheel shaft(crank/hub) or the pedals(which are still free to spin) confidently. 4. Even try different free mounts. Main thing the unicycle won't kick out under you. No slap back from the pedals, but you can still possibly twist/sprain your ankle from landing in correctly. keep on...slam
Great to see the content flowing out again Jack. Hope you and the family are coping alright! This one hits a different vibe but I love it. It just shows how much variety there is in unicycling. There would be people that have been riding for years that haven't tried these things (I 've never tried frame stalls or any unicycle manipulation stuff) that beginners could pick up in a few hours! I know people that landed static 180 unispins before they could ride properly. Also people that learnt to hop before riding and could static 180 hop twist before learning to ride properly! Looking forward to your content starting to flow again mate :)
There's a lot of cross over from bmx riding and unicycling flatland tricks, but I hope any "non-unicycle riding" tricksters can master the hardest trick of all. Riding a unicycle. Even harder. Not looking "cool learning".
Wait, did you drilled holes in those M41 cranks which u cut before? Did u measured how much weight you earned? Serious qustion since building an uni bellow 4kg is quite challenging, i get 3.9 after i changed a tire and spokes follows your advices. list could be extended with some legwraps and mounts. Or crazy stuff like Eddies Ducol "static combo" or footjumps, but those woudn't be good example for tricks to learn before rideing. Generally nice ide to show tricks without rideing, since some other skates could get involved that way.
It can vary from person to person, theres no objective answer to that i guess.. But if youre doing your spin static (from bunny hops to bunny hops) the trick doesnt really build on or relate to the trick of riding in any way
Been riding about 15 years over all but haven't ridden much in the last 6 or 7. Just moved to Banff and have been riding everyday. Anyone seeing this in Banff or Canmore, Alberta hit me up.
Yeah! nice to see that kind of video again! may get some new people into unicycling!
Ha ha, ok the last one I get. I suspect uni gods don’t appreciate how much they have mastered!!!!!
Fun video keep them coming.

To get a title of unicycle juggler without actually learning to unicycle just get 3 unicycles and start juggling them
Hahhahaha yeah thats def a option lol 😂
Heyy! Thanks for the shoutout! First i wanna compliment that hoodie
yes it's a good idea
same for the mounts
I have been really frustrated with my 180 unispins lately and this is just what i needed to clear my mind a little bit!
My personal favourite trick to learn without knowing how to ride the unicycle is the cradle of death
Or the one where you put one foot on the pedal and one on the ground and start to walk.

180 unispin easier than riding?
