Glad I watched this. I thought we went through the Jungle banner on the way out, and I would likely waste my feather up one of the jungle ramps. So unless as a last resort, I'm hanging onto that baby until the Mayan climb. Also, is it wrong that I pictured you as Tadej's domestique going as hard as you can up the climb until you absolutely exploded and came to a dead stop? Lol. Nice effort there, though! For a bit I thought you might ride away from them all! Well...except from Benjamin...
Great effort Rob. That's not an easy climb to pace at all. You did a magnificent job of showing that! Equally, I drilled it into the bottom this morning for absolutely no reason and was running on fumes at the top. Fun course and I'll give it another go later on in the week.
Mega effort rob! I finished in more or less the same time as you did but I did 3.3w/kg but it doesn’t make much of a difference Hope to race you someday!
Great effort, Rob! 🎉 You’ve got the skills to compete, even when you’re fitness is down; I suspect your brain 🧠 just needs to catch up with the dip in fitness before it engages plans B or C 😉
You are often trying to lead the pack and get away- very admirable, gets you wins. Try and ride in the draft when feeling a bit below par. In this event, that may have got you over the crest with the leaders to duke it out for a sprint finish
One of the most hilarious bonks I have ever seen. They easily followed you, and you rode yourself to a standstill. Either you have a gigantic ego or you are a complete newbie. Cycling races are won with strategy, not brute force.
