It was so fast and so much fun for a lap 🤣 but absolutely wild to ride 🤣 it's like when you hear a 1.2 fiesta with a cone filter coming and think that's shifting then you see it 🤣🤣
I was blown away by his performance. This was his first hare n hound venue. He's been into road bikes so speed definitely didn't scare him. But his natural race craft 👌 goose tomac
Great stuff Rob. It is Rob isn’t it. Mate despite the mechanics.. you achieved a lot. You did very very well… Great stuff. A lot of that was very difficult. And you sailed it.. 👍👍👍
Well the main thing is bike set up if I'm honest. Suspension and where your bars and levers are are almost as important as fitness. And also then you can trust the bike more and relax more so your not holding on for dear life. Small things add up. So try a few things
I do hope to do some I am racing sea to sky again. But for UK races I hope to do some but my shoulder is so bad these days 2.5hrs without stopping is a fair stretch. But seeing as I'm talking about it I am scheduled to have a shoulder replacement this winter so hopefully next year 💪
Brilliant vid as ever. Must get to one of these play days soon. Just getting back into enduro after long lay off (kids..). Went to Mick Extance last month and loved it. Put up a few videos myself but quality not as good as yours. What settings do you have your GoPro on? Thanks! Great content.
It was a PACE I'm not sure if it was fast or not though 😂 it doesn't matter how good you are you think you're doing well and then someone will can pass you like your standing still that is what I love about the sport it keeps everybody humble 👌 I am a big believer in it doesn't matter how fast all good you are all that matters is how much fun you are having
Mega video mate I use star cross tyre could you recommend a better tyre How did gooses bike feel What tyre was he using Does the front feel more confident on a 4t Thanks
Well it all depends on what your riding really. There's no tyre that does everything perfectly. So for this I use the kenda enduro which is a medium compound but in extreme I use super soft knarly or soft gauntlet
Goosie is sure loosie. I believe it's a stock 2018 TPI with k-tech OVRS. But the power valves still all the way out. Quite often in the harder enduro people wind it in for a smoother delivery but goosie likes his power all in one lump 😂 genuinely whiskey throttled 5 times. But I was riding it like a four-stroke. With a four-stroke you can commit early because you know the power is very linear. But on a bike like his it's hard to predict when it will come on the pipe and if you are still cornering the mf will step out 😂😂 but it is manageable with slipping the clutch but I did not do that because I was having too much fun
After getting back on a 2stroke whats your thoughts, does the 390 feel a little too tame, im a 4 stroke rider at heart but im having a hard choice deciding between beta 300 an 390
No it's definitely not the lack of power in both. This is my opinion but they are such different riding styles to get the most out of each bike. The 390 really pulls from low through middle to slightly more top end, meaning you can commit knowing you're got linear power and grip. The 2t is totally different especially tpi, basically no bottom end then seems to get going then everything, so on the 390 I can roll the power on early and power out. But the 2t is more either keep it on the pipe with the clutch or roll through the corner and hope your pointing straight when the power band kicks in. I'm adamant that the four-stroke is faster and far easier to ride fast. But the two-stroke is a lot more fun and scary but scary is quite fun.. for dry 4t wet... I'm inclined to say the 2t and it's wheel speed is slightly better.
@Motomarsh thanks for your response and it makes sense. Watching yours an midwest content, its good to compare the 2, an if im honest its ur content thats getting me over the line with the 390, thanks an keep the great content coming.
Cracking video 👌 the track looks awesome and loved the cat and mouse with 🪿. The crash cutting corner was so funny 🤣 nice to see you on a 2 stroke again and his bike does look a animal to handle ✊
I cannot explain how worried I was giving his bike back to him Alan. Knowing how wild he is on a bike that is just as wild. But in all fairness to him in one year of learning Enduro he has come one hell of a way by riding like he does
@@Motomarsh every group has that one crazy guy 🤪🤣 you all have come on so much and thanks for bringing us along for the ride ✊🤙 can’t wait for footage from your trip away 🗻
15:57. One of the coolest things I’ve seen in a country minute. High speed wheelie straight into a jump!
Gotta get that maximum preload pop 😂
Just watched the rest of the vid….. what a track!
It really was a cracking venue and track layout all credit to Steve Ireland and the crew 💪

It was so fast and so much fun for a lap 🤣 but absolutely wild to ride 🤣 it's like when you hear a 1.2 fiesta with a cone filter coming and think that's shifting then you see it 🤣🤣
That looks like a great time!
I don't think the English dictionary has caught up on words how to explain how much fun I had that day

Ah cheers buddy. Comments like these are why I keep doing it 💪
Totally agree. Do you have any ways of getting rid of arm pump.

Love it mate- what’s with the high idle on the 390??
It's very random when it does it somedays it's fine. Apparently there's a fix map update but I haven't done it
Great vid!
Will you be doing any races this year?
I do hope to do some I am racing sea to sky again. But for UK races I hope to do some but my shoulder is so bad these days 2.5hrs without stopping is a fair stretch. But seeing as I'm talking about it I am scheduled to have a shoulder replacement this winter so hopefully next year 💪

@@Motomarsh oh 100%. The battles are the most fun and usually result in someone on the deck!
Is the beta bikes like really good for enduro riding. Also 4 or 2 stroke better
