Love seeing this kind of thing Jeremy, I never really thought about how amazing the work of a live organist is as a kid going to sports games. I find your work really inspiring as a live musician myself. Playing covers in bars isn’t too far away from what you do in some ways, but the unique role of playing support for the team and the energy of the crowd as a live musician is like few other things I’ve personally experienced or seen. I grew up obsessed with Baseball but these days im more of a football and basketball guy, but imo the sound of a baseball stadium mid game is one of my favorite soundscapes of all time. To this day I will still fall asleep to videos of just the ambiance of a night time baseball game. Not the game itself, just the sound of the crowd. Idk how to explain it, it just brings me so much peace and joy. Mostly nostalgia tbf but either way its magical
The fact that there is a ballpark anywhere that actually has someone in a booth to do this live, without selecting from a soundboard actually gives me hope that the world might not be ending.
There’s something so damn magical about one person being in a small room, and creating an entire world and atmosphere just mere feet away. Amazing job 👏🏼

I grew up obsessed with Baseball but these days im more of a football and basketball guy, but imo the sound of a baseball stadium mid game is one of my favorite soundscapes of all time. To this day I will still fall asleep to videos of just the ambiance of a night time baseball game. Not the game itself, just the sound of the crowd. Idk how to explain it, it just brings me so much peace and joy. Mostly nostalgia tbf but either way its magical

used to be a standard feature of ballparks and hockey arenas 30 years ago. Fortunately St. Louis still keeps the dying tradition alive.
