- The front locking differential on our Traxxas TRX6 RC crawler wouldn't engage the locking differential ... watch to see the simple reason why and how we fixed it. Now that it's fixed, we're loving the TRX6 6x6!
The Traxxas TRX-6 Mercedes-Benz G 63 AMG 6x6 RC scale Crawler features six drive wheels, three T-Lock™ remote-locking differentials, portal axles, high/low transmission, 6 aluminum long-travel shocks, TQi™ Traxxis Link enabled 2.4GHz radio system, XL-5 HV ESC (fwd/rev), and Titan® 550 motor and RC LED lighting.

That is amazing the fault tolerance is that high on *cough* *cough* a "toy"! Great video and I appreciate you explaining your thought process. I also appreciate the tips along the way such as putting the caps back on to protect the threads. That is invaluable information! Are you even aware you are doing that? Did one of the bearings explode? How did that ball bearing ball get inside? Unless came from factory like that?

Idk why i have the same problem but there isnt anything blocking it. It simply wont lock only sometimes, and the part that moves to lock the diffs keeps going out
What brand of hex drivers are you using? They look like they would be very comfortable to use.

I over greased my diffs and the locker wouldnt engage
Yeah so apparently the two spline parts that engage/disengage are to be bone dry😮. I didn't know this.
My servo won't engage, I even switched it around with the other diff servo then it worked and the other didn't. Do you have any suggestions

Try to get a metal one .. there's some good ones on Amazon or Amains ... If you get another original, try not to shift gears when the vehicle is in motion always stop then change the gear

I have metal servos on the way but I think it might be a receiver issue.
I want to lock all diffs but I don't hear the servos engage when I hit the switch foward
Stock servos are plastic, might be gone - is it make a loud noise? consider metal servos next
Any idea where it came from ?
