the fight with mayweather wasn't rigged it was just a very disappointing match haha. the thing is mayweather was avoiding manny for years. there were a lot of offers but he did not accept any of it, manny on the other hand was down for any fight he usually accepts any fight offers or anyone one who wants to challenge him and not because he thinks he's better but he said in one interview that win or lose, real fighters do not back down and what's important is to do your best, he knows he will not always win, but he will always fight. after a long time mayweather finally accepted the fight but that's when manny was way out of his prime, wasn't as fast and strong as he used to be bc he's already in his 40s but still accepted the fight given that a lot of people wants it to happen. floyd was too scared to stain his undefeated record and often just accepts boxers who he wants to fight, he now has more advantage than manny but hey guess that's his strategy i can't really do anything about it. mayweather chose his home country as the location where the fight will be held and he didn't agree in increasing his weight class and meet manny's weight class midway so manny had to lose lots of weight. on the day of the fight mayweather was too careful and clinching way too much while manny wants to engage, he avoids head to head on fights to the point that people said he looked like a chicken running around the ring. people expect it to be the fight of the decade , they were waiting for this match for years but it ended up where undercard matches was way more interesting cause there were more action happening. it was boxing, people wants to see them fight and box but that did not happen, it was manny chasing him and him running away 😅 . it wasn't wrong he just played a very defensive play style but honestly he ended up looking like a coward in many peoples' eyes so a lot was not satisfied and expressed disappointment.

The fact that "they" wanted to match up Salt Papi with Josh Brueckner RIGHT AWAY, rather than someone else that was a bit more equal to Papi's "lesser" skill, height & weight, meant that "they" were desperate to prove Papi wrong, ready to tear Papi apart in the media. They probably only saw Papi's body composition of not being shredded & muscular on first impression & not focusing on the boxing experience that Papi had ongoing for years when he was still a boy, even if it was just mostly street experience.

Guys, to answer the question, Yes Dave Bautista is Filipino. In the Philippines, Legally, as long as one parent is Filipino, one is considered Filipino. The Filipinos are such a heavily mixed race. This is from centuries of interracial marriages and is even easier now coz of ease of travel and technology. Billy Crawford is mixed, and so is Brandon Vera. There is no typical “Filipino looking” person. The Filipino skin ranges from African American Type skin like Cam Bynum of NFL’s Minessota Vikings, NBA’s, Jordan Clarkson of Utah, Jalen Green of Houston. Yellowish skin like the Philippines Billionaire Sy family, lightly tanned singer Olivia Rodrigo, Brown skinned Spiderman actor Jacob Batalon(as Ned), Hollywood award winning very Caucasian looking Darren Criss and Hailee Steinfeld. There are many more, you could also check out the video “Famous Half-Part-Mixed Filipinos from Around the World”, if you would like to see others. Lastly, the Philippine Women’s Football Team who joined the World Cup last year, are mostly composed of mixed race Filipinos.

The sad truth is our athletes don't get much support and attention from our government. Many of them need to find their own sponsors just to train themselves and participate in the international competition. That's why some of our great athletes choose to accept other country's offer to represent them instead our own and those who stayed have to improvise and use whatever resources available. The government will only recognized them and take pride when the athletes are already gaining fame and bringing home their awards. If only our government will support them from the very beginning we can produce more and more great representative. By the way, I came here after watching Part 1.
