isnt it amazing how rock band can greatly increase your skill on a drum set, once i got awesome on expert level, all the crazy drumming that use to blow my mind is now my practice and warm up stuff
Maybe when RB4 comes out. I just don't have a PVR that i can use with my mac to record the screen. I used the dazzle when i had a windows computer to work with and it isn't compatible with a mac. not to mention i have yet to find a video editing software that i can successfully edit videos on the mac. I'm sure I could figure it out. If my followers really want me to make more rock band videos, i'll FIND time to do it, despite working a job and wanting to go back to college. I've got time
I am not hating! Just a few things I obsereved, being a drummer myself was 1) The pinky on your right hand seemed to fly off sometimes, which is a bad habit because it just doesnt look good and your pinky is also part of having good finger control. 2) I dont know if this gives you more points or something but it is a very bad habit to start trying to do crazy fills throughout long rests. i mean there are no drums there for a reason. Just a few tips i thought i would give! Once again I am not hating! Just giving some useful tips from drummer to drummer :)
Everyone is talking about him free styling during the breaks and trying to act cool but I think he is smart because he earned more points by doing that
I hate it when (and all the drummers out there will feel my pain) you start nailing this sick beat, doing really great, and then your nose starts to itch.
Dude... i thought i was good. That was the most unbelievable playing ive ever seen on RB/GH. Ive seen all your other drum covers. I cant stop watching the Beast and the Harlot. Keep rockin
@axsle189 yeah dude I literally play everyday. I've played piano for 12 years now so that was a major contributing factor to being able to pick up the drums so fast. But mainly it just takes a hell of a lot of dedication to get really good.
I bet you he would have gotten a better score if he would have stopped fucking around with the clicking of his sticks, because he almost dropped one, and with that, he lost some points with that.
+Kobe Schmuecker You're right. My thought is based on the fact that, for drum sessions in Guitar Hero, the whole thing kinda looks like real drums, whereas for guitar it looks nothing like the real thing and can't really compare the two experiences. Thanks man, I really wanted a mature and relaxed exchange of opinions on the internet :D
I think it's funny watching him whenever their is a break between notes and he freestyles on the rock band drums like he's some kind of hot stuff. Get out of here with that trash lol.
@axsle189 just dedicate about an hour to playing drums every day and just play whatever songs you wanna do or do some cool freestyling with a metronome and just keep to the metronome. You don't have to always do the same thing when you sit down at the drums either. Just do whatever fits your mood for you that day. I have practice pads but only really use them when I'm away from my drum set and bored like when i stay at a hotel on a vacation or something. Hope this helps :)
Two different ways. The easiest is just to plug it into the back of the GHWT drum kit. The other way is to use a 1/8 - 1/4 cable converter and plug it into the TD-9 module and set the correct MIDI note to it. The second way is the way I do it.
@DeckDesignsHD The obvious question for that would be 'Are you using double kick pedals?' If you are, then just remember that practice makes perfect, as cheesy as that sounds. I've gotten into the habit of 'air-drumming' the bass pedal of songs whenever I listen to my ipod. If that doesn't help, you could also try experimenting between heel-up and heel-down drumming. I find that heel-down works best for me but a friend of mine played heel-up, but he did break a couple of pedals.
nice dude. i gotta say ur really getting better. can u provide another tutorial video on how u do ur split screen cuz i just started putting up videos and i dont know how to split screen
Love when you keep missing it on them ghost notes, plus you kept hitting the rims a couple times, but you kept playing through it and I really enjoyed watching.. I'm assuming you set your bass with a second trigger for the double?
question. i do not know alot of connectin differntn stuff on gutar hero and how r you using a different time of drum set to play with besides that your a good drummer
because I have no knowledge of electronic drumsets, I was wondering if all, or some, have realistic functions to them, like being able to catch the cymbals, or a pedal to lift the high hat up and down, or do u have to program those sounds in?
Is it possible to use an electronic drum set as a controller for Guitar Hero with TWO electronic pedals?? Because the are faster songs that you cannot beat without drumming with two pedals.
I don't play just metal, I am a funk rock so I always love to take straight 4/4 beats and put in a few off beat high hat notes or whichever Im in the mood for, The only good video I have would be the one of me and my Rythem Guitarist covering my favourite bands song -Can't Stop- Red Hot Chilli Peppers
lol the funniest part is him constantly yelling at the game
he was amaxing but he was trying to be cool at 3:40 a bit toooo cool. lol
Lol
Ohh COME ON!!!!!!!!!
isnt it amazing how rock band can greatly increase your skill on a drum set, once i got awesome on expert level, all the crazy drumming that use to blow my mind is now my practice and warm up stuff
Time links:
3:40 Derpy stick drop
6:38 Epic fail
*plays 99% flawlessly at the speed of light,* *yells dissapointedly* "C'MON what was that!"
back when games took true skill
Omg really though.
SSJ4TRUNKHAN exactly
+Stephen Mendola Out of all the good ones, 2005-2009 Legends of Rock was possibly the hardest, I quit buying in 2010
@Deaf Girl Productions, That would be a good Rock Band 2 Custom
Lmao at 3:40. Has to be one of the derpiest stick drops I've seen.
ITT: jealous kids who think it's cool and edgy to insult people for having fun because its the internet
You would need to be a natural born drummer just to hold a combo on this song. FC must be damn near impossible
***** you would have much experience with drums on guitar hero and know how they work and being able o read the notes quickly
6:42 "oopahh! Heart attack"
6:38 LMFAO
+Ant Plays MC
SH stands for Smash Hits
Are you ever gonna return with RB drums?
Maybe when RB4 comes out. I just don't have a PVR that i can use with my mac to record the screen. I used the dazzle when i had a windows computer to work with and it isn't compatible with a mac. not to mention i have yet to find a video editing software that i can successfully edit videos on the mac. minime220220 On the mac use Final Cut Pro that's the best Program to use to edit videos with it's expensive but it works....
+minime220220 RB4 already came out idiot
Bradley Shirley lol check the date on my comment

He's doing the "crazy fills throughout long rests" because on certain / most rests, drumming in rests gives you more points
Everyone is talking about him free styling during the breaks and trying to act cool but I think he is smart because he earned more points by doing that
also keeps the rhythm and flow going
I hate it when (and all the drummers out there will feel my pain) you start nailing this sick beat, doing really great, and then your nose starts to itch.
Someone needed a **new doublepedal setup
Dude... i thought i was good. That was the most unbelievable playing ive ever seen on RB/GH. Ive seen all your other drum covers. I cant stop watching the Beast and the Harlot. Keep rockin
i loled a bit at 3:41 xD nice playing tho :)
He lost points regardless, so the stick clicking doesn't really matter.
Its called counting the beats u idiot. if u knew anything about music you woulda known
Your solos in the free form parts are fucking epic dude.
Someone please meme him adjusting the Pedal !! Please😂
''Wait, gotta readjust... Alright, let's do this'' - *THIS. IS. SPARTA* *Multiple insane taps and drum beats*
As a drummer I say that's lame. I mean, the notes are all wrong, there's no double pedal and so on. It's the same for guitar players in guitar songs?
Kinda, it's a little hard to compare though because in guitar hero you only have to pluck the one bar and there are five buttons
They actually have a separate difficulty for double bass in this game (called Expert+) :p
This is harder on rock band... a little kid could do this.
MbksYungNCrazy
Thank you for sharing this, I had no idea :D
yknow, you get mad when you miss a couple of notes, but really this is one of the most amzing things ive ever seen
You are using the kick drum cheat. By the way, you are good hiting the kick. Nice!
Bentaberry no he has two kick pedals look at his left leg when the double bass part comes up
Love how good this guy is at the fill parts.
So glad that gay hair flip died with 2012.
Today people wear hair that looks like a broom. We are going from bad to worse.
francescxavier1996 Its ok if you did it man. everyone goes through phases.
Duncan Muhcokiner this video is from 2009, and he's trying to get hair out of his eyes without throwing his stick.
Gigantickookie no need to get triggered bro, again, if you did the gay hair flip too its ok, everyone goes through phases.
I'm not gay, triggered, and I'm not going through a "phase" right now...
Amazing dude, the best gh drummer on youtube without a doubt
FAAAAKEEEE!
Why?
and just what exactly makes it fake?
Enrique Espinosa If it was fake, Star Power wouldn’t be a thing in this video.
I'm here after 12 years. First vid I ever saw from u
What he's doing there it's not that hard.Only single stroke roles.
*clap*
*1 second passes*
*clap*
*another 1 second passes*
*clap*
I like how you keep doing things- like hitting your drumsticks together- to maintain rhythm. Very smart. I am very impressed. :)
I think it's funny watching him whenever their is a break between notes and he freestyles on the rock band drums like he's some kind of hot stuff. Get out of here with that trash lol.
Justin Hensley Get out of here with your garbage comment. Freestyling helps too keep the muscles and the rhythm going so you keep a good flow.
No, he's just trying to act cool because he can play guitar hero drums lmao.
Justin Hensley I doubt he is a bad drummer outside of GH as well, get a life dude.
Do you really think he keeps that $300+ drum set only for guitar hero ?
Rainbowstunting Get a life? I wouldn't be able to reply if I didn't have a life. Dumbass. XD.
It always amazes me watching someone play drums like this :D
watch joey jordinson drum cam
those few misses just fucks with your mind, know it too well😂
MiDi cables, you can hook it up to the control thing on the gh drumset, then tune it into working
Look in the description, at the Q&A.
It's a Roland TD-9KX series V-Drum kit. So yeah, it's a "real" electric drum kit. Not just a GH thing.
3:46 is hilarious lmao, and after that at the buildup. Perfect song, much nostalgia. Very beastly.
you will get the fc for sure man, keep it up
@axsle189 just dedicate about an hour to playing drums every day and just play whatever songs you wanna do or do some cool freestyling with a metronome and just keep to the metronome. I have practice pads but only really use them when I'm away from my drum set and bored like when i stay at a hotel on a vacation or something. Hope this helps :)
nice job dude i knew you were good but damn you got way better since your last vid it seems
Oh man, if you didn't make those stupid mistakes, you would've gotten such a better score. Can't wait for you to FC this
That tappin' sound really awesome!!
Gotta love the sound that comes off them rolands on snare rolls :'D
Two different ways. The easiest is just to plug it into the back of the GHWT drum kit. The other way is to use a 1/8 - 1/4 cable converter and plug it into the TD-9 module and set the correct MIDI note to it. The second way is the way I do it.
i love the way them pads sound
it's actually really accurate on expert+ the fills and everything are correct.
@CSRbricks
This is the expert chart, not expert+, so they didn't chart the double pedal.
It's not necessarily unFCable, but it's just really hard to FC. It's the part right before the Here We Stand part of the song. It's at like 6:37
Lol at the end: "droped my hat fail" rofl lol lamo lmfao
At 5:39 with fc on drum fills had me subcribed! Pure epik
u r killing it
i love ur drumin
@DeckDesignsHD The obvious question for that would be 'Are you using double kick pedals?' If you are, then just remember that practice makes perfect, as cheesy as that sounds. @gantzpag it's probably the Roland TD 9K2. About 1500 euro.
holy shit dude your diddles are on point
I love the smartass smirk you had on for the first pert of the vid lmao
3:43 SERIOUSLY?!
by the way, ur the best drummer ive seen
I love how you comment on all your misses, I do that too lol. Great job :)
dude you can probably be the first one to fc this song keep it up your good.
nice dude. i gotta say ur really getting better. can u provide another tutorial video on how u do ur split screen cuz i just started putting up videos and i dont know how to split screen
LOL Gotta love that part after he adjusts his bass pedal. it's like BITCH IT'S ON NOW
Love when you keep missing it on them ghost notes, plus you kept hitting the rims a couple times, but you kept playing through it and I really enjoyed watching.. I'm assuming you set your bass with a second trigger for the double?
There's no Ghost Notes in Smash Hits.
Awesome man, but can you tell me what your headphones are called? they look awesome :D
question. i do not know alot of connectin differntn stuff on gutar hero and how r you using a different time of drum set to play with
besides that your a good drummer
dude.... THAT WAS AMAZING!!!!
Nice job dude!
Very well done. You have a lot of skill!
because I have no knowledge of electronic drumsets, I was wondering if all, or some, have realistic functions to them, like being able to catch the cymbals, or a pedal to lift the high hat up and down, or do u have to program those sounds in?
Is it possible to use an electronic drum set as a controller for Guitar Hero with TWO electronic pedals??
Because the are faster songs that you cannot beat without drumming with two pedals.
best run of this song on youtube right here..........has to be
Dude, you are awesome, How long have you been playing this??
Your drumming is fucking awesome man
It's a limited edition £1,000+ Guitar hero drum kit which was made especially by Roland!
minime you are awesome congratulations
I love your hair, drum kit and guitar hero skills!
That my friend.... Was a missed note.... Haha but seriously that was EPIC
That was hella dope dude
6:44 everything was perfect but still you are the best xD
The full speed double bass isn't programed into the game. He's got two pedals though, so he hits the notes he needs to hit.
@deathsketch i can, but the hi-hat pedal sends out so many MIDI signals that it make the GHWT drum brain lag.
Those drums are awesome looking. Where did you get them?!
You're incredible, subbed
Congratulations!!!!!! Respect!!!!!
@bradyrussell24 ordered...Roland x something and the other pedal is from guitar hero kick pedal
7:26 looks like you're gonna fly :O
9 years ago dang
dude u r an INSANE drummer
I don't play just metal, I am a funk rock so I always love to take straight 4/4 beats and put in a few off beat high hat notes or whichever Im in the mood for, The only good video I have would be the one of me and my Rythem Guitarist covering my favourite bands song -Can't Stop- Red Hot Chilli Peppers
6:44 "OPAH" .... that made my day :D

@PatSnipe

minime220220 you re awesome congratulations
Question about Guitar Hero: Smash Hits - Is the Guitar for the Wii Remote (not Xbox 360) required or recommended?
LOL lovin the rage at like the 6:50 mark
