Don't remember the name of the arcade it was but during my time in physical therapy we went to an arcade place that had a lot of fighting game arcade cabinets and this was one of them played it for old times sake did maxi and a few other characters couldn't stay long but enjoyed my time was in one of my hardest times in my life around that time but for a few hours this game took my mind off of it ❤❤
Good to see players enjoying this game in 2023. Chris knows his stuff. Pity he did not try for 3B, 2A+B x2 as a difficult combo to showcase Cervy more. Would also be fun to iBT 2A_2K but the mindgames never reached there. Nightmare can be played as a heavy mix-up character, but of his greatest strength and accomplishment in mastering him is also creating space and making players whiff. The 2K strategy is indispensable for Nightmare (giving plus frames I might add) and it should be part of his toolset to create an offensive flow for the character.
Man, the level these people play reminds me of how my friends and I would play back around the time it first came out and we would play each other all the time.
Thanks to this channel ive learned theres a competitive scene for so many old fighting games I never even thought would still have active playerbases. I put hundreds of hours into this game as a kid on the Gamecube. Ate peoples food with Link and Kilik
The game that got me into this franchise as a whole and never looked back 2003 all the way to now Maxi was always My go to chacter against my grandfather his favorite was kilik glad this series is still going strong nowadays 2 and 3 i spent the most time with more than anything as a kid 😊😊❤
I can't believe no one plays Ivy. This was the most goated she has ever been. With cheeky soul charges she has the most guard beaks and unblockables in the game.
Out of the original character cast Yunsung was, by far, both the weakest and least played character. Assassin, who I personally hated, was way stronger.
My favorite character was always cervantes in tournaments, sad we didnt see more combos or follow ups, maybe he felt safe just poking everyone, worked out!

in higher level sc2 GI isnt used that much.
