You should watch "SM Culture Universe ep. 1 aespa Black Mamba". Its a little cinematic explaining their universe, story, lore etc. Its really helpful with understending what they are all about, it has subtitles in english. Its a bit longer video but i belive many people would enjoy seeing your reaction :)

yes! u finally check out black mamba! ok, so i've said the order of the story in the previous video, now this is gonna be a bit difficult but this is the term:
-Black Mamba: The 1st Villain of the story who disturb the SYNK
-SYNK: the process of connecting between the girls and their avatars/AI (they're called æ)
-FLAT: the place where the æ members live
-REAL WORLD: the place where the girls/human live
-KWANGYA: the place where they encounter black mamba
and this come out later on smcu ep 1 and next level:
-P.O.S: a portal the girls and æ used to teleport between places
-Nævis: the guide who open the portal (she's a beautiful AI)
-KOSMO: is a name of a place too, the girls have never been there, maybe later
the next tracks are gonna be crazy lol. aespa’s next level and savage are really interesting songs, those tracks are what people think when they hear aespa

I love that you're reacting to more Aespa! They have one of the coolest storylines in kpop currently, imo. If you're looking for some other girl groups to react to I would suggest Everglow, lots of hard hitting tracks and great vocals, or Purple Kiss, they have an AMAZING range of songs even though they're a pretty young group and Swan has one of the most unique female vocals in kpop.
I agree with the Everglow suggestion. The way he enjoyed Illusion so much makes me think he would really enjoy Company or Nighty Night from Everglow.

I've been watching your journey in Kpop and considering your taste in music I think NCT is another group that you'll really like.They are from the same entertainment company as Aespa which is SM Entertainment and their music is very experimental, unique and not everyone's cup of tea.

Aespa are so interesting when it cones to their storyline and concept , their song “savage” is so good too . Another girl group i highly recommend is “dreamcatcher” and their songs “Maison” and “deja vu” they’re amazing.

love the reaction! before you go any further i highly recommend you to do a little research about their concept as a group or else you won’t understand their lyrics or music videos AT ALL! once you know what it’s about everything ties together nicely and piecing everything together is a whole other level of fun! you might be taken aback at first but once you get into them there’s no turning back. they’re on the next level
Besides the title tracks (Next Level, Savage). I'd recommend you to watch the "SM Culture Universe ep. 1" and also listen to the Bsides of the minialbum Savage, they're fire.

Black mamba is their debut song. aespa has their own storyline if you want to know more u can check black mamba mv then SMCU ep 1 then Next level MV and finally savage MV. The story of aespa its crazy. All SM's groups are concected by KWANGYA its really sick, Im a big fan of NCT (another group of SM) and I dont know really well the story yet, but its really interesenting, you can dicover something new everyday. you can't just listen to their music when it comes to aespa..these girls have their own worldview, alternate universe to tell. you need to "study" lots of name, terms regarding their universe. some of them already in the lyrics like SYNK, FLAT, KWANGYA and the black mamba the enemy. This story would continue throughout their next tittle tracks, you'll be surprised at how serious they took this concept and it's absolutely amazing. It helps a lot that the girls actually have great vocals, every one of them. Oh please check out their mini film about black mamba eps 1, it's a ten minute long video about their story.

For your information about aespa .. watch SM CULTURE UNIVERSE EP 1 BLCAK MAMBA ...
Aespa have a metaverse concept. Every one have 2 sides of identity, 1 in real world, the other one on virtual world. Since people sometimes edit their identity on internet (to looked better), these 2 identities aren't no more the same or even totally different, and they eventually would become 2 entities. So aespa have 4 human members and 4 avatar members.
This is their debut MV, it showed one avatar member only. Black Mamba was a digital villain like virus of hate that was trying to change netizen into haters. Black Mamba hijacked the internet and disconnect 4 aespa from their 4 avatars.
Love from fans created a virtual guardian angel called Naevis. Their 2nd MV titled Next Level the lore continue. They're trying to find Black Mamba. Their first step was to call Naevis.
Their 3rd MV titled Savage, Naevis use all of her energy to reset the internet and transform aespa into digital version to enable them to enter the virtual world to fight black Mamba.
They thought they already killed Black Mamba, but "what!?" something unexpected happened. Black Mamba back to live in the 4th MV titled Girls which is scheduled to release on July 8, 2022.

Mate since you seem very interested in following Aespa's journey you also should watch SM Culture Universe episode 1 Black Mamba. They explain everything that's going on with Aespa story line and they also explain the characters and the technical terms. It's great I promise and it's well done just like a mini movie. Just for now tho:
SINK = the connection name between the real aespa members and their virtual egos æ (pronounced like the alphabet letter i)
FLAT = virtual place where the Aespa members and their virtual characters can meet and spend time together
KWANGYA = basically SM universe. It's a huge world shapeless with no rules. When you dive deeper into SM artists you'll see them mentioning this name cause every group is related in a way in SM even if they have their own story line
MY = stands for precious friends and it's Aespa's fandom name just like STAY.
BLACK MAMBA = for now is in a snape shape and it's the villain the members are tying to fight cause it wants to disconnect the SINK and also wants to rule over KWANGYA.
NAEVIS = A virtual guide. She can make the SINK happen between the real life members and the virtual one. She also can open virtual gate to differents dimensions
KOSMO = Another dimension part of KWANGYA I guess. For now nobody has been able to reach this dimension
I think you will love "Next Level" and "Savage" and "Zoo" (rap collab with just Giselle(of Aespa) + 4 NCT rappers). Two other songs "Dreams Come True" and "Forever" are official MV covers of old girl group songs and are more pop style so they might not be as much to your taste. You still might like Dreams Come True because it was "Aespa-ized" whereas "Forever" is closer to the original pop song (a slow pure vocal harmony track).

SM artists music are really different. They really experiment with new and interesting sounds. Aespa and NCT/WayV especially I think! NCT I think you would like a lot of their stuff. You should check out Yestoday by NCT U. It has 4 members. Taeyong, Mark, Doyoung, and Lucas (3 of these members are in the group SuperM as well). I think you would really dig it.
SM has a HUGEEEE story line that kind of involves all of their artists. But I feel like Aespa and NCT/WayV are at the center of it. So you will see a lot of stuff that seems to be part of a story line in their MV's. But all of their artists are involved. They call it the SMCU(SM Culture Universe) which I feel is a play off of the MCU (Marvel cinematic universe) and how everything is intertwined with all of the movies in one way or another. It's really impressive how they've done it honestly. But most of us don't really know what the story means yet ha ha.
Also another SM artist called SuperM was actually partnered with Marvel because they are called the Avengers of Kpop. SuperM is a group comprised of some of the top members in SM entertainment so they are all from different groups. 2 from EXO. 2 from NCT 127 (which is a sub unit of NCT). 2 from WayV (which is a subunit of NCT). and 1 from Shinee. I think you would like their songs Jopping. Tiger Inside. 100. and One.
The flat here refers to the ae is the FLAT and when they connect with the aespa members,it is called synk. N when disconnected is called synk out. Not the flat earth

I think you would really like Everglow. 'First' is my personal favourite of theirs and the music video is crazy , but 'Pirate' and 'LA DI DA' are also amazing along with Bon Bon Chocolat which is their debut song.
You should definetely react to EXO and NCT as well, I think you'll enjoy them a lot. They are all from same company than Aespa, "SM Ent.". EXO has it's own lore, which is really interesting to dig into, but in some way or another all SM groups are connected through SM Universe (Kwangya) concept.
Also all SM groups have really interesting music, a lot of production and music value, a bit experimental and really talented people.
Unusual for me, but I must say they are an interesting group.

@@TeddyGreyOS Just one thing to note about Mamamoo, while they do have a really good rapper, they are by no means a rap focused group. It's all about vocals and singing with them. They are amazing, one of my favourites up there with Stray Kids but don't go in expecting hip hop because that's not really what they do.
