  • Hi fellow dog lover!🐶 My dog Billie had so many behavior problems… she was jumping, peeing inappropriately, overly aggressive, pulling on the leash… she was just crazy…🤪 Then I found this one solution that stopped all the problems!🙌 The sad fact was…The training I first tried with my dog was a complete fai...lure.😔 I went through the average cookie-cutter training programs. These programs used outdated and ‘mean’ dominance techniques. It turns out those programs had no qualifications and were developed by complete phonies.😱 So this is what I did to stop my dog’s behavior problems... In a few simple words… I discovered my dog’s hidden intelligence!🧠
Let me explain… In my years as a dog owner…this is the one big lesson I have learned. More intelligent dogs are better behaved.👍 A more intelligent dog takes commands easier…and understands what you need from them. What I found out was… No matter how clever I thought my dog was. I could still unlock my dog’s hidden intelligence quickly and easily!😄 Don’t waste a second longer putting up with your dog's behavior problem! I’ll explain everything you need to know in the link!😁

I have two standard golden doodles and I live in an apartment. As long as we take them on walks and exercise/play with them, they do perfectly fine in an apartment. If you live in an apartment and are considering adopting a goldendoodle, don’t let that discourage you.

    • @ykonratev
      @ykonratev ปีที่แล้ว

Why does an apartment matter.. you can have a giant house but if you barely exercise it you have the same problems. Just cause it's in a bigger space has no relation to how much it's gonna exercise on its own😊

I have an 11 month doodle and she has fit in with my family so well. It’s like she’s always been with us. When my grandma comes over to visit she always lays by her feet to protect her. She will not move. She’s so cute and she has learned so much within her first year. I highly recommend a doodle. If you do get one… we take our doodle out for four walks a day. I heard they need about two hours of exercise. Then we play inside with her rope or ball.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

In Australia we call these dogs Groodles. I think it sounds sooo much better than golden doodles. We have a smooth coat groodle so she looks more retriever than poodle. We have the benefit of the gorgeous groodle personality without the high grooming costs. Honestly, she is a very intelligent, mischievous without causing destruction, affectionate dog we have ever owned. Buying a groodle has been the best decision we made. Easygoing nature with personality.

I have a 7 month old Goldendoodle (mom is a golden and dad is a poodle) and she's been great although since it is my family's first time owning a dog and my dad and I are her primary owners it has been stressful at times. When she was first brought home at 8 weeks she definitely took some getting used to (puppy energy, biting, crate training, etc.) but she was potty-trained fairly quickly, puppy biting is over now, and she has never really been destructive. My family does have to leave her for up to 4 hours at a time, twice a day as we work, but she has the basement of our townhouse to herself and I come home every day for around 2 hours to let her out, play with her, and walk her.
She has a lott of energy and always wants to play. She is very curious and adventurous which has been a challenge on our walks as she tends to pull and want to go everywhere (it has been getting better but slowly). When she is trained more I think she would do very well on hikes and general off-leash walks. She is also very friendly towards strangers and other dogs even though we haven't been able to socialize her as much as we wanted to with the pandemic (doggy daycare has been a tremendous help once or twice a week). Also, she is relatively quiet and only barks when she sees people and dogs through the window or on the balcony sometimes; she doesn't really whine either (except in the beginning when we crate trained and worked on her being left alone, which we had to be very strategic about to avoid the separation anxiety).
Unfortunately, she has had a few health issues so far: UTI (when she was really young), thrown up a couple of times, yeast infection in one of her ears, a mild cold, and kennel cough (just recently, as it is going around in my area) so keep that in mind when thinking about the cost of med bills. Long post but hopefully it helps for anyone who is thinking about a golden or is about to get one.
Please feel free to ask any questions, I know I needed it when we first got her!

Most of this is true, but all dogs are different, even those of the same breed. I have a 9 month old Golden Doodle, and it's easily the smartest dog I've ever had. However, she has a high prey drive. She also has zero separation anxiety, and actually acts as a guard dog and barks at a stiff breeze. Despite socializing her since she was a puppy, she absolutely doesn't trust strangers and we always have to warn new people not to try and pet her until she's comfortable because she WILL bite. I'm honestly not complaining about it since it translates to her being very protective of our kids, and it's never a bad thing to have a 70 pound dog protecting your children.

Probably didn’t exercise him enough. Also from 4 weeks he should be getting touched everywhere to make sure he becomes insensitive to being touched (more the breeders fault than yours) . But most inportantly they are a very VERY active breed if they dont get played with enough they get bored and misbehave. They are super intelligent due to being part poodle so mental stimulation like slow feeders, kongs, etc... need to implemented. Owning a goldendoodle is easier than owning a lot of dogs but all dogs take hard work to train and get to behave. I take my dog on a walk for up to three hours a day but i’d say an hour walk is good (not including bathroom breaks).

My daughter has one. I love her. I am watching her while she is on vacation right now. She is a great dog but has some issues. Last night she grabbed a wet paper towel, ran away when I tried to get it from her like we were playing a game. She ended up swallowing it. Prior to that she grabbed one of my socks & maybe would have tried to swallow that but I got it out of her mouth. Then another time she did that with her sister’s panties & almost swallowed them. Luckily my daughter grabbed her & was able to remove the undies from her mouth. She said they were 90% swallowed. Finally, she likes to eat rocks, sticks & leaves in the yard. We both play with her & try to engage her but she randomly indulges in this dangerous behavior. She is only about 50 weeks old. We want her to live long, but if she continues eating these things she is going to create a digestive blockage, need surgery & may be ruining her digestive system. My daughter has a full time job. She lives alone with the dog. While at work the dog is in a crate. A dog sitter comes to the house 4 out of 5 days a week to let her out of the crate for an hour while my daughter is working. The other day of the week she goes to a dog sitter who watches multiple dogs & she interacts with the other dogs & avoids the crate for the day. On weekends she spends a lot of time with Gemma (dog’s name) & walks her a lot long distances. What can be done about her eating dangerous things that will ruin her digestive system? Will she out grow eating leaves, rocks, & sticks? As soon as she does that I bring her inside the house & hope she puts 2 & 2 together!

I have 2 Goldendoodles and I know of about 8 other families that have them. They r fantastic and happy dogs but that part about they don’t shed is a complete lie. No clue why so many people say that. Every Goldendoodle I know is a shedder. They are also NOT hypoallergenic. Total lie!

Total lie according to your own experiences yes. I have 2 and know plenty others and they NEVER shed. End of story.

Same here. My goldendoodle inherited a curly/poodle-y coat but is a HUGE shedder.
      Best dog ever, though.

Golden doodles are mutts, theyre all byb. Just get a poodle

Except poodles have those long pointy thin noses, not to mention the creepy-looking "squirrel feet." And there's really no better dog than a golden retriever if you don't mind the fur everyplace (which is fine with me, but not for family members with allergies). No thanks -- kidding aside, I'm sure poodles are fine pets, but I have no regrets about getting our golden doodle.

golden doodles are not actually, search it up, they are Crossbreeds and has the "breed" word in it, first widely bred in 1990s, the crossbreed is bred in three different sizes varieties corresponding to the size variety of a Poodle used as a parent, a Mutt is a dog breed that is mixed with another dog breed but does NOT have a reconized name with it :)
