I made these a few times, now. The first batch, I didn't have dates and I used bananas. The second, I used a few less dates and added date sugar. Both were out of this world! Thanks for a great recipe. :)

Thank you for sharing! I watched two other videos before this and they wanted me to sign up for their program to get the recipe.

Omg Thank you!!! I made these and was so disappointed!!! I am trying to eat Nutritarian , but I have a brownie/chocolate addiction. I figured these would help. My brownies turned out looking like they belonged smeared on a prison wall somewhere instead of on a plate ☹️. Now I know I need to rinse the beans. I think that’s where I went wrong.

      Always rinse beans!

Thank you for the recipe. I compared to another site that listed Dr Fuhrmans recipe and I think it only called for one can or two cups of beans. Not two cans. I made this and it was heavy on the bean taste.

Looks so easy and good. Definitely going to try them. One question, are the chia seeds ground or whole?

These look really good. I like that this is a different take on the FOKs version.

Let me get this straight... I can eat delicious brownies, and I still get Dr. Fuhrman 'Bean' credits?!
Can you help me figure out a recipe for a chocolate frosting, for the top of these healthy brownies; that's made of plants?

@@MzHannah36 Japanese sweet potatoes are my favorite food! (1" slices in Instant Pot, for (10) minutes.) The texture & flavor is amazing. Great by themselves, in tacos, soups, chili, etc. I blend them in my Breville Sous chef food processor, with fresh greens, basil, garlic, spices, spread on crust, and create a 'Veggie-overload' pizza, with tons of fresh vegetable toppings.
Oh great, I'm hungry now! :)

You don't need frosting. If you want to do all of that, why not simply buy a candy bar? Frosting is not usually added to brownies, but many people use it for chocolate cake.

chocolate-avocado frosting is quite good. check out a recipe on here. i've made one in the past and it's tasty on brownies and cake.

Man I really want to try this but I am cutting weight by keeping to just big bean salads, I wonder if it will halt my loss?

@@MzHannah36 Haha! yes, chocolatey date mousse is very good as well! I've been making it for years but always in my Vitamix which requires extra liquid to make it remotely mixable. From now on I will be mixing it in my food processor. Thank you for your reply!
