Exploring a SECRET Radar Station

In today's video, we go off exploring on a hike with Neo our trusty Doberman dog. We take a drive in Elz our Japanese Export, Nissan E51 Elgrand, up to Clee Hill a former WW2 secret communications and radar station. Which was one of the slave/repeater stations for GEE system of aircraft navigation and was previously called RAF Clee Hill. It finally closed in the early 60's.
Titterstone Clee hill is home to, two weather radars on the summit. Below the hill is a large quarry which offers fantastic opportunities to explore.

Great find and tour around Clee Hill. I have a lifelong fascination and interest in old style radio/radar and tv transmitters. Would have been a dream job back in the day. Not much shelter from the wind up there but great views, certainly worth the effort.

Totally agree, there is something very interesting in the old style transmitters and towers. This was a great location, the communication towers around the crater/quarry made it a real interesting exploration. We n the approach felt like a scene from a James Bond location.
