since you haven't had a reply, I'll just offer my amateur 2 cents for what it' worth... it looks like a 'pullover' (back roll into support) can be done with pure strength (no momentum (kipping) assist) _if_ you're in false grip, whereas a back kip gives upwards momentum that allows a gymnast to shift their grip to perform the same move without needing to start in the grip that's needed for the support position.
Generally, the longer the ring straps, the greater instability will be present (harder to control). lmao I just noticed this comment is 7 years old. I'm guessing you figured it out haha
Brilliant, thanks for this. I assume I just work with lighter and lighter bands until I can do it without.
Mad that this vid is 11yrs old
Awsome i have been looking for somthing like this for a long time.
Can't wait to try this!!!
Your tutorials are amazing plz keep them comming =D
Yes….even today….😁
Love this skill!
AWESOME
Great Carl!
When I do this exercise it hurts the flexor muscles in my underarms. Is there anything I can do to prevent this or strengthen these muscles?
Just strengthen them.
this seems like it would be so much harder without the band though.
Hey could someone teach me the difference between a pullover and a back kip? 'cause I can't see almost any...

Nice dude!
dose the length of the ring matter with difficulty? my rings hang about 5feet
