well it was supposed to be the end of the show. Season 5 ending was planned to have an proper ending for Sam and Dean and was suppose to end the entire show here
This was supposed to be the series finale, the main writer of the show left after this season, they added that sam scene at the end when they receive confirmation for a new season.
Ive watched a few reactions and I love how LITERALLY NO ONE wondered why Chuck disappeared! I mean the showrunners are giving the biggest hint they could and every one are like "oh, huh, goodbye I guess"
13:11 actually, in the original script, it was meant that castiel would reveal that he was actually god, but they changed it which makes me sad because that would have been the best twist ever
It's been a long time coming, but you finally made it to the end of Season 5. What a banger of an episode. I think Baby is the most underrated character of the series. Great reaction.
I honestly wouldn't say it goes downhill, but it definitely changes a little. Some episodes in the later seasons are even better than the first 5 seasons in my opinion with many new characters
Yeah, but at the same time spn definitely had a Renaissance after s7 up to the british thing. A lot of great developments that make up most of the iconic parts of spn are from seasons after s5.
@@Ulas_Aldag not really there were some good moments. And some plots began in very interesting ways before collapsing into stupid shit but overall the last 10 seasons aren't great
this was kripke finale of the show, but when they recieve the confirmation of a new season, kripke give pass the mantle to sera gamble and she did a great work with season 6 and 7. (season 6 is my favorite season, even more than 5)
While I don't want to say it is all downhill from here, this was where the show was intended to end. There is a noticable difference afterwards, with some of it being really good, but much of it fairly mediocre. The really struggle to find increadingly rediculous "big bads", and have some trouble with previously established in-universe rules.
It is true that some upconing seasons are not great, but you are missing out on some great episodes and amazing characters if you didn't watch past season 5.
@@TwistedFiber In fact, back in the days I was kind of surprised it continued and I must have watched until season 7,5 or so. But I rapidly lost interest and settled in my mind, Supernatural = 1 to 5, period.
@@Stephen64138 It makes sence that you gave up in the middle of season 7. The only season I consired wors that 7 in 12, but I would say that season 11 rivals season 5.
@@Stephen64138yes you really missed on some awesome overall characters and plenty of great episodes! 6 and 7 yes were weak but 8 and 9 picks up 10 is good but 11 is very VERY GOOD, rivaling season 5!
@@Richardwho-vv5bh nah the whole plot of mmm well ash i cannot talk about it but the plot of u know who… is so boring and its only interesting cause sam winchester … but thats my opinion and the second half is really good plus that episode im sure u know what episode im talking about is gorgeous haha one of the best…
yeah this is easily one of the best eps of the series.

NO LITERALLY ITS KILLING ME 😭 Especially the ones that don't even say that, but just look away, or down, or at each other and miss it completely.

I’m from Michigan the fact this ended in Detroit was always funny 😂😂😂
Everytime I watch this episode I wish they didn't continue...
Comparing this to the real final episode of the show just breaks me

Sam's scene at the end was filmed in case the show was renewed. If it was canceled the scene would not be there.
what happen to chuck?? well you found out in a couple seasons later.
I watched a good part of the early seasons in french dub on tv here. I was so sad when it was over with S5. Then after a while it was back on tv.
I am crying
Someone is cutting onions
Glad you got to episode . Glad you got to injoy it like i did

A great finale. And that's where my journey with them ended.

Season 6 with no doubt has the worst half season of all of them but also i think it has one of the best second half season so i guess its ok
Worst full seasons are 7 and 12.
