Great video, and applies to Master too, but really we should be re-adding thread-locker to motor bolts when they go back in. Also worth a mention is that when you are lifting the entire weight of a motor on the first side when you put the bolts back in it is important not hang that weight off 1 bolt or you risk deforming it. Therefore alternate corners pattern and 3 turns at a time so we don't deform any screws because it gets lifted evenly by all of them.
Great video! Very thorough with the explanation on each step of the process! Very valuable content for riders who do their own work or want to do their own work on their wheels. Keep up the great work! 😊
On the tire install, I like to dust the tube with talc & then use soapy water all round the tire edge & use hands to push it in as much as possible. Less chance of pinching the tube IME. Good vid & I now know how easy it is to do a tire swap on my ex30. Got a Shinko 244 on the shelf when & if I feel the urge . Thanks bud 👍
Yes, thats a very popular method. I personally don't like my work area to become messy with soapy water and talc, so try to find ways to do things cleanly.
Awesome vid demo, Inappreciate your work and sharing. Do you have the link for the tire you installed? And did you replaced it with tubeless or also with inner tube? How do you like the riding difference between the two types of tire? I would like to replace with medium knobby to medium street. Any recommendation? Links??
You can purchase a tubeless valve and install it, but I've never done a tubeless conversion on it yet. I have done a tubeless conversion on a Master Pro however.
Thanks. We were thinking of something that could relate to the two of us, but did not want to use the word “couple or dual”, wanted similar to “2 peas in a pod” but in an electric way, so Albert suggested “2 battery cells in a pack”, and ended up “2cells1pack” 😊
Got the cst c6004 tires on my ex30 and love them. I am trying to find the exact tire for replacement but only see that tire offered in 18x3 size in ewheels. Isn’t the ex30 tires 20x3? Also what are the top 3 tires you recommend for the begode ex30 thanks anyone who can help.
yup....the easiest wheel to change tire! ...got brand new...and swapped it right away back then :P ......use a lot of soap liquid if you have big brand tires such as michelin, pirelli, etc etc...,way much easier :)
Which street tire and what size do you recommend for the EX30? My preference of tires (only because I have them on my RS) is the Michelin Pilot Sport 2. Due to Michelins tire size form factors, I'm not sure if I should go with a 90/90-14, of which may be too think and rub the battery boxes, but seem to match the 2.75-14 conversion saw on Cycle gears Webster, or stick with a 80/90 -14 which I know will work. My concern with the 80/90-14, is that Roger EUC from SO Cal didn't like the way the Michelin rode after his install. I'm assuming it was the 80/90-14.....????? I don't want to have to put a plastic adapter on my metal wheel like roger is designing. That sounds like trouble to me. What do you recommend based on your expertise? Thank you.
I did notice that some street tires ended up with an unnatural amount of gyro straightening forces due to the profile of the tread with the wider rim. I haven't found a good solution to this yet - and it was actually on my mind this morning. The DURO trail tire, CST knobby tires are all very good with this wider rim.
Thanks for the input. I’ll probably just stick with my CST knobby for now, I’m happy with it. I just wanted a safer feeling lead characteristic on the street. Hey, because of your video, I’m going to do my own inner tube change now. Keep up the good work.
Awesome video, just got my EX30 and am looking to check over all the bolts before riding it. How much torque do you recommend i use for the axel bolts? I noticed the side wall on the 8 axel bolt holes on the pillar is quite thin. Would it be safe to tighten by hand hard?
@@2cells1pack Bet. So I used a T style hex key, and I tightened the axel bolt pretty hard, but not gorilla strength hard. Also applied loctite, you think that'll suffice?
Off topic, but because i an also a heavy rider, what do you set your suspension at on the EX30? I cant get it to feel good at all lol I just ordered a coil shock for it because its been so bad.
I haven't set one up specifically, but I would start with measuring sag at different air pressure levels. Ideally around 20-25% depending on your preference

Thanks ! My goal is to be a support for those who want to do their own work but are hesitant to try.

I need to do a complete motor swap on mine. I don’t see any videos on that, but I’m sure I can manage.
Definitely easy to change thanks for the tutorial
Kedra tire just came in, the table and spoOns are on order and should be here Wednesday. Thanks so much for the video! Wish me luck. Cheers.
Are you encounter any issues, just reach out and I'll try to help you the best I can
Super easy tire change, I'm impressed with your tire change video's.
Thanks!
can you make a video on changing a commander pro tire please
Do you have to let the air out of suspension?
great video. very helpful. thanks guys!
Glad it was helpful!
Hey do you like this tire over the knobby?
Am I really seeing that we do not have to remove the seat to remove the wheel!?

I believe it was a kenda k340a tire. It’s with tube
Best tire change video !! How tight should those motor bolts be ? Need a torque wrench ?
There is no torque spec released by the manufacturer. I typically just do a couple clicks on the Ryobi Impact Wrench.
what about tubeless tire? can u make a tutorial?
You can purchase a tubeless valve and install it, but I've never done a tubeless conversion on it yet. I have done a tubeless conversion on a Master Pro however.
I'm assuming its the same process on the Extreme

Love the channel name lol

haha... less disgusting than that :p
Just changing mine. Had to saw the old one off and new one is being hard. Wth.

18x3 and 2.75-14 are basically the same size
Is this about the same for Begode Extreme? Thanks

I prefer not to use too much messy liquids or powders unless i'm in an outdoor setting.
Hi what size inner tube does this have? A 20" x 3"?
2.75-14
Where can I purchase this Kenda street tire?
Kenda Street tire can be purchased from service.eevees.com

Yes, I would probably want a little more torque than typical hand tool, something like a socket wrench where you can lever a little

Just out of curiosity, whats everyone tire pressure for this ex30 i am a very light person only weighing 135lbs fully gear up.
I run around 30-35 psi

What name tire?
The Tire that was put on was a Kenda K340a
The Extreme Bull X-Men is the easiest wheel to replace the tire on, only 12 bolts. Oh well. I will hopefully be getting my EX30 soon.
oh? I didn't have a chance to look at that wheel.
Now make a video removing the motor lol 😂 that’s what I’m contemplating doing
Man use some rim Protectors on a customers wheel Using metal
