I liked the video. I think people are confusing “brand new player” and “early game”. Early game an experienced player knows how to gather resources and what Dino’s to tame to do so.
Thanks R.A. Hailstorm, 😀 I appreciate that. I do believe a brand new player could to this with Pteranodon as well. Or on foot if they were brave enough.
First knockdown the other Allos because they give defence buff to the Alpha of the allo pack, So knocking the lower level allos first helps knocking the high level allo quickly
MC BIZZLE, Thanks again. I keep getting those kinds of comments. I made the video to tell new players what to do, and even told them the best stuff to use. I used some kibble as I'm not going to wait forever for them. I could have easily edited out those parts and made it look like I did it with just meat (like many TH-camrs) but I like to be real. Thanks again. 😀
@reptar894, depends on the settings on your server or SP. If normal, here is the wiki link. A level 30 will take 112 Arrows with a bow and 31 with a crossbow. ark.wiki.gg/wiki/Allosaurus
@@Kaazoo71Games Wood, yes, thatch, not so much. A lot of early game tames can harvest thatch with ease. Meanwhile, a specialized tame must first be gotten to get wood and stone at large quantities. Most people tame a trike or moschops out of necessity, but they can harvest thatch as a secondary effect. Meanwhile, a beaver or dodic are much rarer and need to be tamed specifically for their respective resource.
Meh. The concept of "early game" really holds people back, IMO. The number one complaint about official PVE servers is they log in and the area is pillared and "there's nowhere to build!" It never occurs to them that if that spot wasn't pillared, they would have spawned into someone's base. Quit pretending this game has an easy area, or that you need a starter base, or that taming a trike is going to be useful and just progress.
Theopheus, 😀 I did this for early game Single Players. I don't do videos for Official PVE or Official PVP. As far as the pillaring, I've been on several PVE maps and the pillaring is not just around spawn points. I've seen entire maps pillared and the only spot to build is very small. Is why I have my own servers and also play SP.
@@Kaazoo71Games Pillaring can be abused, but it also serves a purpose. It protects player spawns, dino spawns, and resource spawns as well as keeping players from building on top of you. When I played official I built a base and someone tried to build theirs right in front of mine. Of course even pillars don't stop inconsiderate players. Someone once built a raft base and parked it right next to my base for over a week. My parasaur was constantly going off. I played solo official for a year and had bases on Island, Aberration, Ragnarok, Extinction, and Valguero. I tried to establish a base on SE, but I was spread too thin and they kept decaying. I also tried making a base on the Center and gave it up for similar reasons. But I never had an issue finding a spot to build a base and I was very successful despite being solo. You learn to tame without fancy traps because you can't just build anywhere you want. I only play offline SP now and most things are ridiculously easy with no other players to contend with. Especially when people play with wild dino pickup. I don't play PVP.
@@Theopheus the times I played PVP or PVE Official I had to get creative to tame a few things. Especially my Argy. I seriously have PVP though. So many cheaters, and if you are solo, you stand no chance when you have to get off the game. SP is easy with no player to contend with - I agree.
@@Kaazoo71Games Yeah, I guess that's kinda proves my point. I don't know off the top of my head what level you can make an argy saddle at and I know the bp is a super rare drop on the Island (you could probably fish for one, but I can't recall if a prim rod will get you bps or not), but I think it's like level 62'ish? If you just concentrate on leveling your character by level 62, you can damn near tank an argy and then the only issue is trying to get to it when you activate its torpor flee. The people who really hurt themselves are the people who refuse to transfer. If you want to play only on the island 'til you beat the island, that's entirely your choice, and yeah, I get it, it's harder because everything on the island is a grind, but grind = times spent and it's going to take you possibly years longer to get through the series. For people just starting out, by that time the game will be unsupported and people will be playing Ark 2. (although, personally I have no intention to buy Ark 2). Rock Drakes are easier to get with a Spino, which takes extraordinary kibble, which you have to transfer because the kibble tree is broken on Aberration. Running the hard water cave on island is SOOO much easier with a karkinos or a rock golem and cactus broth. You can get better blue prints on Rag, Extinction OSDs, or the water cave on Crystal Isles. This REALLY cuts your time spent factor down. But Ark will always and forever be crippled by the RND, unless you use something like Beacon to redo your drops. You can set breeding and taming rates as high as you want, but you're still going to tame 50 Rexes before you get one with the breedable 40 points in the 4 important stats, and you're still going to spend months searching for that Rex bp that's higher than 100. I'm enjoying your channel even though I'm trying to get out of ark. Thank you!
Robert Lawton, yes I put a Kibble in the 130 and two in the 80, however, as I was talking to said, you use prime or mutton early game. The trap and knocking them out is what I was doing for early game. 😀
I always wanted to tame a pack of allos and thanks for making this video. 😊

I did this trap on lost islands cuz at the beach there is a bunch of allos so I decided to make a pack from them and it helped a whole lot
@petertokes65, glad I could help. Makes it easy on ASE. Doesn't work on ASA however.
Why is everyone complaining this guys trying to help players out.
Thanks MC BIZZLE, 😀 that is my thought many times. Some people just like to complain. Haters will be Haters. LOL

1:10 Sadly you can’t tame the alpha raptor though. It’s untamable. 😢
@winlatt682, Yep Alphas would be cool to tame
thanks a lot
You are most welcome @DanmarkRapP,
How many tranq arrows do you recommend

A good amount of stone is so hard to get early game imo.
Salandityrannus, no more than wood and thatch

How to tame a thyla earlg game o. The island
Hen2390, tough one. I'll look into it. I have when I have a taming raft. It's easy to carry them with an Argy to a Raft, but let me see what I can do.
