Really liking the amount of detail in your videos lately. Feels like by the end of each review I pretty much have all the info I need to make a decision. Thanks.
I have all of the different sets for the Black Widows. I really like them, they are close to my favorite pencils. Prismas and Polychromas are the only ones that I use more and recently I think that I have used them more than my Polys. There are some interesting colors that I don't have in any of my other sets. The white is pretty good, though I don't tend to use white all that often. I also like their black, there are technically 2 blacks, though one is more of a very dark grey. A lot of people who have mobility issues don't tend to hold pencils correctly, they often hold them in their fists this means that they can sometimes put a lot of pressure on a pencil a stronger core would be important then.
That’s a really great point actually! I can’t wait to have a really in depth look at The different types Of pencils that are great for mobility differences, see what works and what doesn’t 🙂 I’m very keen to make some art with them and see what happens!!
I picked up all of the sets last April -- and enjoy them quite a bit on the joy level. They don't outperform my Prismacolor, but I do find they work well with Prisma. I do find myself using a lot of the pinks/purples/greens/blues from the various sets to supplement as so many of those colors are so bright and colorful and Prisma doesn't quite match the range. Quite enjoying these reviews!
Thankyou! Glad your enjoying them 😊. Did you ever find out why they are such specific colour ranges? I'm planning on getting one of the bigger sets in the future just to play with in the future but in the mean time i'll keep testing them to see if I like them more.
@@StuffBySunshine So far as I know -- and this is mostly just from watching other TH-cam channels that the creator was working with when these sets were first coming out, is there isn't a specific project/activity/reason they came out the way they did-- it's just another level of the whimsy of how he created these sets. My personal opinion is one reason these sets haven't become more popular & moved beyond sort of a niche in-crowd sort of endeavor is the whimsy is a little confusing if you're just coming to the pencils or finding them suggested to you in Amazon.
Well that makes sense, Pity they haven’t continued with the content creation and branding as I’d like to see more . Such a shame because they are quite beautiful pencils.
@@StuffBySunshine I have my fingers crossed there will be another set with a few more reds, lavender/purples, oranges, yellows, as I most often find the range in those hues have gaps. If you're wanting to play with them more and are looking for blues & greens the Dragon & Monach sets are quite divine.
Okay good to know! I did a test on twitch last night and really struggled with the scorpion sets lack of reds (and a white of course) I’ll keep my eye out for a dragon or monarch set ☺️
I haven’t had a chance to use those yet. Are they aimed at colouring as well? I’ll hopefully be testing the black widows on this Fridays stream so you’ll get a chance to see them then as well ☺️

Glad you like them! Just remember you can never have too many pencils 😂😋
Oh they're so striking!! The black wood is just lovely. Looking forward to the Derwent review!
Very striking! They do stand out when you you see them in person. 💜

Thanks for the researching and reviewing colour pencils.
Hope you have a very Happy New Year.
I love your cohost
Thank you! You too! 😂 Cecil didn’t last long unfortunately, he wanted to wander off and explore other areas!
Great review Sunshine

I prefer the barrel to resemble the lead color. Easier to find what color you need.
That’s my preferred pencil style as well. Just easier to grab. But it is fun to have something so cool looking ☺️
I'm not sure, they seem like something along the line of Cra-z-Art or Crayola Colored pencils .
any case I'm interested in trying them.

I have Crayola and BW’s are way above Crayola or any other cheap school pencils. I love my Crayola pencils but they don’t have what BW has
