Scouting for campsites, we got stuck!!

Short little afternoon trip from Prescott to Jerome, AZ. We decided to check out the Mingus Mountain area for good campsites and got stuck in our 2-wheel drive Chevy Express. We had to back up 1/4 mile before we came to a good spot to turn around. My wife was not happy with me, she was getting motion sickness and it was getting dark. We were on FR 132, 2-thirds of the way to Cherry, AZ from Mingus MT camp grounds (17mile trip). The road is doable in a lifted 2-wheel drive with lockers, it is worth the attempt for the adventurous type. Beautiful AZ wilderness!! Plenty of campsites!! #vanbuild #off-road
