Before they started choosing the cards, I suppose the deck was ordered black, red, black, red... Cant think of another way, although I don’t know how he got the deck ordered like that.
He is a master in shuffle tracking, and shuffle ordering, so if indeed he was able to order it alternateingly, then it becomes trivial. Unless is assistent is too chaotic or impulsive and messes up the order.
But she does not put every second card on the same pile. Sometimes she puts two or more cards on her black pile, then two ore more on her "wrong" pile, just as she pleases in random order.
@@surfguard but if the cards are in alternating order she always picks a black one. So it doesnt matter where she puts her card, she will always have a black one and he will always have a red one. So all the black cards in the middle are from her and all the reds are from him
The deck was ordered like that at the beginning of the trick. The cuts he did do not change the alternating order. Note that if the bottom card is red, and the top card is black, then any single cut will preserve the alternating order. The way he "spreads" the cards face up groups a lot of cards together -- you see only a small portion of the 52 cards, so it would appear that it has clusters of blacks and reds together.

Mentre lui probabilmente sa quali sono le rosse e si prende solo le rosse mentre le altre le scarta e magari ne scarta anche qualcuna rossa per avere il mazzo degli scarti misto tra nere e rosse

I believe you're talking about the bottom card? it's a hearts, color's a bit off on the vid but look at the shape.
