- This video has been ripped from an almost 30 years old VHS, so it's a medium quality.
If you like the work of Lennart, this routine is just the top of the top.
It's the same routine he made at 1988's FISM, and again in 1991. For the little story if you don't already know it :
"Green competed at the 1988 FISM convention in The Hague, Netherlands, and was erroneously disqualified because the judges believed he had used stooges in his act to shuffle the cards. In 1991, he performed the same act but insisted that the judges themselves shuffle the cards to prove that he used no stooges. The judges then awarded him first place." (source Wikipedia)

His handling of the cards is possibly the most impressive thing ever 👏 He makes it look so sloppy yet so dang good lol
Still the best of all time in my opinion. Not just for his skill, but presentation and ‘psychology’ lmao
This is one of the most incredible routines I’ve ever seen; amazing!
I believe that he was performing in from of some of the best magicians ....in the world. And they loved it. That is impressive.
I used to juggle and there was a European Juggling convention and saw a guy named Michel who was juggling for the Circus Krone, who were performing in the same town. He is a fast juggler and does the opening act. Most people don't appreciate how hard juggling is so his act gets tepid applause. He agreed to perform at our talent show, but he was rather blasé and not excited. But when he started his act, he got applause for his amazing talents. When he did 5 clubs behind the back, there was instant applause which he never got when the public saw him and you could see his mood change. And he came out for several encores and even had a tear in his eye when he went off the stage.
When you can impress your peers, that shows your real talents.
He is a magician's magician indeed.
On the cover of the VHS is mentioned some names of the magicians in front of whom he performed during this competition : Ricky Jay, Gaëtan Bloom, Juan Tamariz, Eddie Dawes, Max Milton, Dan Foley..
I've uploaded an image of the cover here : drive.google.com/file/d/1kQWI1wj2DlnL1hr1HnafC4ekFkbzKC0e
Where /when was that juggling convention? I attended a few in the 90’s. EJA Hagen?
I was in the room when he did this.kennedy international hotel euston london.
Nobody at that time had seen those techniques using steranko palm.
Cross yourself when you say his name....the man is A GOD !!!!!!
The first time a saw the Snap D. I shit myself. Imagine being the first person in the world to behold this power.
That's crazy! I know enough about magic to catch about 80% of trickery that I see, but this is crazy.
I swear he takes the most pride in his ditches. so quick and effortless and with barely the twitch of a knuckle.
He is the inventor of that "ditch", it is now a classical move, but I have to say, nobody does it like him.
The video quality might be "medium", the performance is beyond and above perfect quality! Never get tired of watching Lennart Green!
I watched this trick a hundred times and every time it amazed me.
thank you for uploading this. one of my favorite routines of all time
You're welcome !
Fantastic! One of the best Lennart performance!
The way he handles those cards...you'd have to change to a new deck after each routine
I tell you about 83 I was in a magic club i got out of as i lost interest but still like to watch it and some guys who were really good and some with a deck of cards that was amazing when I came across this guy couple of years ago im just absolutely just in aw how talented and gifted this guy was awesome and scary
Definitely my favorite routine and magician!
His skillz are absolutely NUTS
Yes! The naturalness of the deal and the misdirection is above off the charts.
Amazing skills. The Best.
That first palming trick is a stroke of genius, so well played
El mejor mago que ha existido sin truco de camaras y todo muy limpio, Gran habilidad! Unico!
What’s interesting is Paul Daniels is actually presenting this. RIP. Cups and balls king
God of card magic.....
Just watched this again. Still Amazed.
Stunning
Lennart is the man! Love this guy!

Why on earth No one in swedish Public media is doing something about this is Very sad...
I was actually there that day
Must have been good

The joke where he mistakes his grandmother for his uncle 😂
さすがレナートグリーン
笑いも入れるマジック
幸幸介 exactly!
Anyone here after Takumi Takahashi
@@bobjenkins3rd I think he probably can. Lennart taught him everything and said he surpassed him
@Dylan Knight Takumi has better skills but Lennart has better performance skills
He just made david blain look puny.
reversed anti laser :D
Is it me or was his English much better when he was younger?
Yes and he was moving a lot faster
His "bad" english is part of his comedy, he uses it to purposely say strange funny things during the performances... But his english is decent if he wants it to be.
Lol. The same thing went in my mind
In the beginning it was a little flash but anyways he is brilliant
Ma scusa, secondo la giuria, quando si sarebbe messo d'accordo??
who knows the name of the trick in the first performance
Can you be more precise please. Do you mean the first techniques he used, the shuffles ?
The what the hell was that?
I see he's nervous here
The nervousness is part of his act, it gives him his charm
@@lawrencetaylor4101 He messed up a bunch of things, though. In his other performances he does these effects even better.
Eric Tate teaches this routine on his penguin live
Does he teach the full routine?
@@optifitpersonaltraining8260 yes, he also adds to the routine
@@07904905876 amazing!
Do you have a link to share?
In the 90's it took me a month or two to completely rebuild this routine, I'm curious to see if we have the same result in the end.
