For those wondering what kind of genre of music this is, it's called Drum 'n Bass its sometimes also referred to as Jungle in regards to the 90s sound.
The boss battle at 8:06 is cool because the main objective is shoot down the plane before it takes off, and at the end it shows that you shot down the plane right before it took off. And the music at the end of the boss goes great with the bosses defeat at 8:31 making it more cool. Its definitely worthy for a movie scene.
Fighters USA: -Keaton: A robotic specialist who was assasinated once in an terrorist attack. -Blazers: A group of 3 people members who dedicate to protect their hometown and their habitants.
I'm speechless! That's the best damn shmup playing i've seen! Congratulations on saving the world with that weird German pilot. Now if only we can see Cindy & Ellen in action...
I watched Sonic Wings 3 playthough and thought that it would be really strange for that game to go out of Japan, due to the bosses it has: the giant squid in the middle of a desert; the monkey undersea, mounted in a thing that does japanese faces. But this one is Aero Fighters 3, and I see those missions were changed. That makes sense.
Fighters JAPAN: -Hien: A shadow ninja that fights in stealth missions against rebells -Mao mao: A young Girl which her hobby is singing her own songs and play them in live concerts
Fighters: RUSSIA: -Chaika and Pooshka: the twin sisters from mother russia which they happilly live together. -Spanky/Whity: A dolphin who has a job for the circus but also as a fighter.
I've seen you mention about using save states before, and was wondering if you knew of a way to disable that large save box message MAME pops up every time you quick save/load?
I don't know why this image is only occurring to me now, but when I see the little plane firing all those bullets, I am reminded of when Apu put that little boy in charge of the store, and the boy suddenly pulled out a huge shotgun to everyone's shock.
If I remember right, there is actually a different final boss other than the UFO. A robot girl I think, but I'm not sure. After all this game was so bizarre to even believe what I played through..
Fighter jet games like this works better in vertical rectangle screens, not horizontal rectangle screens. Aero Fighters 1 was played on a vertical rectangle. But overall it was one of the best fighter jet games I have ever seen along with Super Spacefortress Macross.
Hey, are you playing this straight through legit? if you are then HOLY SHIT you are good. This is one of the more difficult shooters I've played (and I beat some serious shmups like original R-Type but could never beat this one).
I guess so because some of the same team that worked on the original Aero Fighters would later form Psikyo who are responsible for the Strikers 1945 series. Considering that Strikers 1945 came out around the same time as this game too

me paso algo horrible con ese juego aun no me explico a alguien mas le paso?..... en la cancha del océano donde matan al mono loco y al submarino que parece un pez espada....... una vez estaba en esa cancha jugando yo y mi hermana y me salio un BOSS oculto y era un CALAMAR GIGANTE que te aparecia en toda la pantalla del ordenador y que no tenia fin o sea apareció el calamar y nunca terminaba de pasar por toda la pantalla del computador.... alguien mas le paso eso? siento que es algo perturbador yo y mi hermana quedamos algo traumados por que me vi todos los videos de este juego y me lo jugue unas 1000 veces y jamas me volvio a salir ese calamar y quiero saber si a alguien mas le paso?

Games like this will always be the best. They're much more challenging just like Ghost & Goblins. Where getting to the end seems impossible.
Aero fighter type games bosses probability - Huge Tank 100%, Huge Chopper - 100%, Huge train - 100%, a Battleship -100%, Various planes -100%, weird Alien shit -100%, weird shit - 100%.
Came for the first stage music. Feeling a huge amount of nostalgia! :D

Could you tell me where you downloaded the Aero Fighters 3 rom? I can't find a rom for this game that works with the emulator I have.

It seems that they had legal Issues with the rights of the planes. Or why they are using crappy aircfafts? insted of the f15 , rafales etc
Are Strikers 1945 planes enemies of Aero Fighters because there is a F5U Flying Pancake and J7W Shinden in this game with a same attack?
