Loved this video, I needed something other then Christmas movies to watch and this fit the bill!
I leave a prim tree out year round, will put away all of the Christmas by Jan 10th or so, but leave up winter ie snowmen, birds, greenery etc. I love all the patterns you shared!
I love those pj's. I wanted to wear something festive for the video. 😊.
I usually take down Christmas decorations before New Years. I like the blue color you chose for the chest & bench. Noel

I certainly hope you start feeling better soon! This has been a strange Christmas for us, my husband tested positive for Covid on Christmas Eve and so far he’s doing ok. There’s always something to be thankful for and I am thankful that I do not have it! Your projects are awesome and I hope you enjoy the rest of your NOEL season.

I love seeing all your decorations and seeing your winter patterns. That's a great idea to take the words off of I'll Be Home For Christmas - then it would be the perfect winter pillow. I might have to make one that way!!!!!
This large saltbox pattern is keeping me busy, and I haven't gotten to stitch any smalls. I'm thoroughly enjoying it though!
You are so delightful and interesting to watch. Mesmerizing to say the least! When my Christmas gets packed away its all about snowmen! I will also keep out pinecone garland, orange slices, icicles from mini corn cobs with mica on them, feathers, and mushrooms made from half clementine skins and squash stems that I made for my tree this year. I stuck with natural things that I could use all winter to decorate. Love seeing all your treasures! Merry Christmas dear lady and peace and joy in the New Year!

Sweet thrift finds. Long wall baskets are my favorite. Can change out the faux greenery for ever season AND , switch out SEASONAL punch needle pieces ❤❤
Oh, I had not thought about switching out a punch needle design on it. I guess I could attach it with velcro, or strong magnets, and that way it would be interchangeable.
We sang Noel song in church service. It don't put out anything special once put Christmas decorations away.
I am going to have to get busy making some things for those spaces. I don't have everyday things to put in them, so it will look rather empty.
Noel, Noel! I love Brenda Gervais’ little Santa. Loved your parade of patterns. I leave my Xmas punch needle and cross stitch up until New Year’s Eve. They, I display snowmen in punch needle, croll stitch,, and chalk ware figures.
I love chalkware! I just bought some paper clay, so I can try to make some snowmen.
Merry Christmas😊. I put away Christmas after New Years and then just decorate with snowmen afterwards until Valentine’s Day. Then I intermingle some VD decorations with my snowmen. Your Merry Olde Christmas pillow is lovely. The light aging worked well.

I jus discovered you this morning as your floss tube popped up! I loved everything you shared on this floss tube. Of course I hit that “follow” button as fast as I could ◡̈. I take down Christmas on New Years and usually keep up my bottle brush trees and snowmen thru January. It’s a nice transition for me because I love Christmas. I’m finishing NotforgottenFarms, “Merry Chickmas” and will get it done this evening. I do have a question for you … I love the “Cookie House” pattern you shared. Is that chart from PNPS magazine? I’m off work today and I’m finishing my last Christmas stitch, Ebenezer’s Christmas by Erica Michael’s. I usually leave some of my greenery out for winter with a few rusty metal snowflakes. I also have some snowmen that I leave out.

Happy day after Christmas! After I put away Christmas decorations, I put my spinning wheels back in place along with my Alice in Wonderland nutcrackers that my son gifted me many years ago( my name is Alice). You have so many great patterns. I did a number this Fall adding back to my stash so I’m excited about the upcoming year stitching. You are inspiring!

Love,love your finishes!!! I put back my everyday items after Xmas goes away. I put my table center pieces in a closet, display christmas and then everything goes back in place again.

Welcome! I have a lot more organizing to do, to make it the way I want it. I have a storage closet that is a mess right now, but I've been waiting until I felt better to finish it. When that is finished, I will feel much more organized. It is a one-bedroom apartment, so it's all about smart usage of the space that you have.
I liked your finish with the “e” change, good idea not to frog it. Looks great. Kind of weird that the sampler doesn’t have the letter J. You do very nice stitching. The baskets are a good find. Cute book idea might have to steal that. Thank you for sharing. Noel I don’t put anything out, I go to FL until mid April.
I have heard that it's common for letters to be left out, and that they were that way in antique samplers. There isn't a U either, in this pattern. I'm stitching on it tonight.
I only put a little Christmas out this year, will switch to winter next. I'd like to stitch more sewing room type pieces for general decor. I've just kitted up Noel by Brenda Gervais, it will be a long haul project. I want to stitch more large samplers in 2024. Your dresser looks great, love the color.
I like the sewing room pattern idea. I would just have to find room on my wall for things like that. When I was watching my video yesterday during the editing, I was thinking that there was so much busy stuff in the background, that it was distracting. I may relocate my filming area.

Love your finishes and decorations! Thank you for all you share. I like the Cardinal Kin. I don't think it is just for Christmas. I take down most of my Christmas decorations on New Year's Eve. I leave the greenery on the mantle and add gold bows to it. I have 3 gold birds in small pots with greenery that I put on the table. That's my New Year's decorating. I'll leave those up for about a week and it all gets put away til next year. I have a few things I put out throughout the year for all the holidays.

I put my Christmas decorations away gradually after the 1st. The tree goes down on the 6th. I leave out anything that looks winter. Mostly snowmen. I need to start checking out thrift stores. You find the best stuff!
A lot of times, I don't find anything. I try to be picky, so I don't collect a bunch of useless stuff. Today, I found a basket for $2. I can skim the store pretty quick, but you have to remember to have a vision, of what you how you can transform things into a unique finish.

I do not keep any record of ours at all. They stop and start so much, that that would be hard to do. I just keep an album on my Google drive, and that's where I pull the pictures from for the slideshow.

Thank you! I really love how Prim that pattern turned out. I am also happy with the dresser, except it's a bit smaller than the space that I had in the green cabinet, so I had to hang my pants in the closet. 😊
I will put my Christmas away the weekend after Christmas and will put up snowmen, snowflakes and pine trees. Lots of blue and white finishes. The Noel chart is pretty

Hi Doreen! Happy to see you today! I hope by now you are starting to feel better. As always, I love seeing what you have been up to! About the fabric from Hobby Lobby, I’ve seen that before and was very tempted by the colors. I think it’s better suited for true embroidery or uncounted cross stitch!

Love the stitching on the book! Great idea to open the book to set on shelf! I need to do that! I leave my snowmen up for the months of Jan and Feb. Of course here in New York I could probably leave them up for March too LOL!

Happy Noel! So many great finishes. I start taking down Christmas the day after since it usually takes awhile. I keep up whatever is wintery, woodland, greenery, dried oranges, pears, and plain trees.
Thanks! I have so little, it won't take long at all, then I'll have empty spaces until I make or buy things to fill the space. I'm a bit of a minimalist, so I struggle with that.

I leave out my snowmen out and just put Christmas decorations away. I love when people share their patterns. It gives me so much inspiration to dig through mine to stitch for the season.

One of my favorite Christmas songs is Noel… I decorate with snowmen mostly I am in the process of collecting patterns to stitch that would be appropriate for winter one I’m looking to stitch is called winter blessings .. I normally keep my tree up until January 12 ..Merry Christmas 🎄

I am just starting to look at winter charts - Arizona desert winter is just not snowmen! I have always just put my everyday decor back out on New Year's Day.
