Milan is getting official approvals and is proceeding. The Inter “project” is much more in the clouds.. it sound like they have just an option (expiring may,1) for a field in Rozzano, not in the same location as Milan

It's the age old problem ,- neither club can afford to build a new stadium just for themselves. Which begs the following questions - Why do Italian clubs have so little money all the time? ....Where on earth does it go? Does most of it go into players wages?

I'll believe when I see it. These projects are too big for the money generated by a Serie A Club. The glory days of Serie A were 20 years ago and it will take a lot of good decisions and luck for Serie A to reach the levels of money the EPL generates for these stadiums to be built like this. The best way is to renovate San Siro with public money helping since it is owned by the Milan Comune(city council).

That's B.S. talk by the new Milano mayor, now, that he'd seen, after 10 years, both clubs begging them to do it, to delay hte start of the construction of these new stadiums and preserve San Siro. That's only a dream that will never come back!
