Firefighters injured while battling fire in Monroe Township

More than a dozen firefighters were injured while trying to put out flames at a building on South Monroe Street in Monroe Township on Tuesday. We’re told 17 firefighters were treated on the scene for heat related injuries, and one firefighter was transported to a local hospital and is currently listed in stable condition.
