    Looks really good, have nothing but praise for A+H mixers. Absolute joy to use, looks like it has great soundcard in it too. Should sound awesome.

    Can i use the internal soundcard to record audio straight into my laptop. So use the USB as an output from my mixer to my laptop? Does the record (phono out) out use the internal soundcard or does it come straight from the audio. Im not using any software, just a pair of pioneer cdj 900's. I'm having problems with crap audio quality when recording a mix and want a decent mixer that can directly be plugged into my laptop through usb with good quality audio. Or it it better buying an external soundcard like the focusrite scarlett 2i2 to get good audio quality with a mixer without an internal soundcard.

      Hello Jonny,
      Yes, you can use either the USB or the Record output to hook up to a laptop, Using USB/Jack to phono. The Record RCA out take its feed off the main LR mix bus (pre- master fader). Both of these options will give you comparable sound quality.
      The Xone 23C soundcard default routing for the soundcard sends (to the computer) is for USB channel 1-2 = record output and USB 3-4 = FX send. This configuration allows you to record your set and add FX.
      If your intention is to change the configuration so the Mixer is DVS ready, then these USB sends will change. The DVS system on the 23C is set to work with Mixvibes software.
      I hope this helps.
      Regards
      Luke

      @@xonedjofficial Hello I have a question for 23c,
      I would like to use it with Traktor Pro 3 as it's certified, but have 3 decks from Traktor playing at the same time (Deck A,B and a remix deck). Is this possible? I don't need volume or EQ control on the remix deck as it is controlled by Kontrol F1.
      Hope you can answer me, thanks.

    If I use traktor, can I assign 2 stereo usb channels to line A and B. And beside that assign one stereo usb channel to the preview player and the last one to a third Traktor channel for samples/player function? Or are two of the four stereo channels not for those purposes available?

      Hey,
      Thanks for the message,
      The 23C soundcard is scratch-certified by Traktor. So if you wanted to use this mixer's soundcard, instead of the Audio 8 you can.
      support.native-instruments.com/hc/en-us/articles/210273865-TRAKTOR-Certified-Mixers-Interfaces-for-Timecode-Control
      By default, the mixer is not ready to run with DVS but can be reconfigured with internal jumper cables. Please check the link to the video below for more info here.

    Great Guys I just bought the Xone 23C it’s a very great 2 channel mixer,
    top quality!!! I would like to know please if I will buy the K2 can I after be able to map the controller with the Elektrons devices? For example I have The ARMK2 that I would love to separate the kick and bass (and put them in one channel) from the rest of the beat? So I can map like the kick and bass in one K2 channel and the rest of the beat in another K2 channel 😋
    Many thanks!!!

      @xonedjofficial  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi Frankie,
      Thanks for the message.
      Both the K2 and AR MK2 have fixed MIDI implementation. How this matches up, you would need to check both manuals. Though, it will be lucky if these two systems match up and are able to give you want you want here. Personally, I would advise using a MIDI translator for this type of application. For this you will need a MIDI interface, computer, and translator software.
      Please check each user guides for the implantation.

      Hi Rodrigo,
      Thanks for the message.
      If you are running a lite version of Cross, I believe that it is not MIDI enabled. If running a full version, please assign controls to the FX on/of switch and amount and depth controls of the on-screen functions. For more information on how to set this up in the software, it might be best to drop Mixvibes a line. As far as the hardware is concerned, when connecting via X:link, please ensure that each device is set to a separate MIDI channel, then daisy the K controller from the furthest ‘out’ to ‘in’ on nearest, then ‘out’ to X:link on the mixer.

      It'll never come! Native Instruments wanted too much from A+H for it. I've seen that trick too, have never tried it, but heard it works no problems. Think I saw a link to it on the Xone forums somewhere. Can't see that it'd ruin Traktor though. Worst thing that could happen is that you need to re-install.

      The Xone:23C is not fully supported on IOS devices. It will be connected and most likely stream audio as a class-compliant core audio device. But any issues that you come upon will not be supported. For a supported alternative, please use Windows PC, or Mac OS computer.

      Hi Lucas,
      Yes, so long as the mixer has not been reconfigured for DVS. USB channels 1&2 (from mixer) will route off the mixer record output. It is these channels that you need to select in Traktor’s preferences in order to record back into the software.

      Hi Adityajit,
      Thanks for the message.
      Connection from the XDJ playback device to the 23C needs to be established via the analogue RCA connectivity which is available on each device.

    • @xonedjofficial
      @xonedjofficial  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Vanina,
      Thanks for the message.
      When the Xone:23C has been configured to DVS. The USB sends are no longer routing the record and FX buses. As these sends are now managing the timecode signal for the DVS.
      For recording you will need to use the RCA record output to the computer internal soundcard via the computer line input socket. So, you will require an RCA to 3.5mm jack cable. Once this is in place, to continue recording into Traktor you will need to create an aggregate device, if using Widows, you will need to use a third-party audio driver such as ASIO4ALL to create the aggregate. Or alternatively, you can use third-party recording software running in the background and route the internal SC to that.
      Kind regards,
      Luke

    • @VaninaBuniak
      @VaninaBuniak 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Xonedjofficial hi Luke thanks for answered me !!!. I tried with that cable RCA to the computer but it could be that my computer Mac doesn’t have the line input socket ? I have one only for headphones . In that case which is the solution ? And also today I tried to record with the cable RCA connected to a cable TRS to TRRS to my phone to make livestream and even that i fixed all the gains in the mixer , traktor , etc, the sound is very saturated . How can I fix these both problems ?

    • @xonedjofficial
      @xonedjofficial  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Firstly, I would say that using a phone is not the ideal device for audio transfer. To completely hazard a guess, I would imagine that the phone input level is Mic or consumer level, whereas the mixer output is line level. To test this theory, I would try running out the Monitor output and use the monitor level control to attenuate the signal. If better results are attained, then this is your answer. either keep on monitor out (if available). Otherwise, get yourself an attenuator cable for the record out socket.
      I know some latter models of Mac have done away with the line input, which is a bit lame. Personally, I would get a third-party breakout soundcard and us this into the Mac for recording/streaming.
      Best regards,
      Luke

    It has a sound card? So you can replace it? Upgrade later to something better? PLEASE stop calling everything with USB Audio a freakin' Soundcard!! It's more than a bit ignorant. And your narrator said '4 stereo channel'. That means 8 channels. From the '2+2' label I'm guessing you meant 2 stereo channels, or four total.

    • @xonedjofficial
      @xonedjofficial  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Chris,
      Hope all is well on your end!
      We are sorry that you are not keen on the terminology used here. The sound card is an extension of the computer's USB peripheral devices. So, if you wanted to upgrade the computer's sound card, you can do this at any point by simply replacing it with another one.
      I do have to agree with you that the comment on it being a 4 stereo-channel sound card is a bit misleading. But not necessarily untrue. As there are two stereo channels up and 2 stereo down make four stereos in total. However, this may have been better expressed as 4x4, which is the standard convention for channel count labelling here.
      We hope this helps!
      Kind regards,
      Luke
