Narsingh Temple Joshimath, Uttarakhand | Joshimath News | Joshimath Sinking | Bhavishya Kedarnath

Narsingh Temple, Joshimath & tourist places of Joshimath in Uttarakhand have been in news for last few week. People are wondering what's happening in Joshimath, Uttarakhand. I was blessed to visit the Narsingh temle a month ago. In this video I will narrate the history of Nursing temple & tell you the various stories associated with it. I will also visit the Bhavishya Kedarnath Temple located near Jyotirmath.
Joshimath has been in news recently and it's not for good reasons. Over 500 houses in Joshimath facing serious problems as they have developed many cracks. Joshimath has been declared as sinking place. There has been a lot of discussions on why its is happening in Joshimath. Some experts blaming it on various hydro projects that are going around Joshimath & Tapovan. Joshimath crisis has become so deep that now local residents are being moved to relief camps & safe locations. When I visited Joshimath last month & roaming around Joshimath market, I had no idea that this is going to be my last trip for now. I could have imagined that just after few weeks the local residents of city would be shifted to safe locations.
I also visited the Bhavishya Kedarnath Temple in Joshimath, which is located next to Jyotirmath & kalpavriksha. As the name suggests, this temple is believed to be the future abode of Baba Kedar. There are stories that in future the present Kedarnath & Badrinath temple will be unreachable for devotees. So in that situation the divine abode of Badri Vishal will be Bhavishya Badri temple which is located near Tapovan Valley & Baba Kedar will be worshipped in Bhavishya Kedar temple here in Joshimath.

This is totally man made Disaster.Uncontrolled deforestation, unplanned Construction has lead to today's problem.
I have travelled intensively in uttarakhand during my college day's in late Eighties & early Nineties.
Our late PM Mrs.Indiraji had stopped all Enginnering projects in early 1982 on Special request of Great Environmentalist Shri.Sunderlal Bahuguna (Chipco Andolan)who alerted her of future disasters if we carry out projects like Tihri Dams.(I am not sure but more than 3Lakhs Dynamite were used in Construction of this Dam).
Prior to Kedarnath tragedy nos of Tourists visited to Uttarakhand was 4 times than Goa & Rajasthan.
Recently I have watched all yours Videos of Uttarakhand where I found green cover has decreased considerably while concrete Jungle is increasing by lips & bounds.
Himalaya is young mountain unlike Sahyadri & Nilgiris in South India.
Utmost care is necessary to Save This sensitive Biosphere.
Let's hope for the best.
