Degree brings you strategic way of learning basics in a field. It also puts you on your toes to test your understanding in a subject. You learn variety of subject that are not directly related to your main goal but broader your understanding in multiple areas

I only agree 25% with your guest, His stress to obtain degree is wrong. I agree with Raj that skill development is more important which will what you will deliver at the end of the day. Stress on degree is the reason that we lack skilled people. You need skilled people before Engineers. This is exactly what China did.Manners, negotiating skills, communication and computer skills is part of school education not university. I have worked in India for 12 years and outside India for almost 30 years. In western countries nobody bothers for your degree as long as you can deliver. Deference forces and other organizations educate employees for skills that they need. not for degree. They have no need to call that education a degree. People can learn more as they go further in their job. I have seen lot of graduates from IIT and IIM who have inflated ego and do not work and think that they are obliging the company. It is better to hire somebody from regional college who is ready to work.

Degree is not a skill certification anymore. Today, it certifies that you meet a certain criteria with a few minimum expectations. An education degree brings the parity to an individual who can fit in a civil society. It makes the individual fit well with the peers - in a professional or social setup. Mind you, its not a guarantee, but it helps and enables. All in all - the big problem is that Indian education system no longer produces employable pass-outs.
Many graduates leave academia with impressive degrees but lack the specific skills that employers seek. This disconnect between college curricula and industry needs creates a gap where graduates are well-versed in theory but unprepared for practical application. As a result, while their degree/diplomas might suggest readiness, many find themselves struggling to meet the demands of the modern job market. This scenario underscores the pressing need for educational institutions to realign their programs with the evolving requirements of industry, ensuring that graduates are not only knowledgeable but also job-ready.
That’s because, many people feel ki learning in itself is not as important. Wo to college enjoy krne ke liye jaate hai. They end up submitting copied assignments . They don’t realize the value of the opportunity they have gotten.
24:55 let me add a scenario here a person who don’t have a degree work on his skill for a year then he somehow able to gain experience in a company don’t matter by working free or through internships but now he have experience of 2-3 year now who you choose a person with degree or this guy
I should say a degree with skill and knowledge of course should we seek from the institutions. Because when you go abroad so first check ✅ list is degree. Your profile is made on your higher qualification. 2. Skills are required because it enhances your career. 3. Knowledge will boost your portfolio.
You need degree (former dropout here); else: 1. You aren't eligible for most jobs (as mentioned). Even if a job advertises no degree requirement, they'd lean towards folks who have degree. 2. You aren't eligible for immigrant visas. Most immigrant visas are based on you having qualifications that aren't available in the foreign market. 3. You'll have trouble getting credit. Loans, CC always collect education qualification, not having same drags attention to it. Another reason I heard from employer: 1. At that age, the only indicator that you can finish something to completion, is a multi year endeavour, is your degree.
While i was in college. I started to learn about business by working in a friend's family business Year by year i grew my knowledge base by reading books (on execution, systematics, body language, finance, marketing, making deals, sales and many more things). I worked on their business for 2 years. I was able to streamline their business. Fixed their customer acquisition, built the enterprise resource planning system from scratch, built SOPs for various sectons of the business and also hired for different positions. Now I'm in Phase II, where we are trying to SCALE, and remove all the bottlenecks from the existing system, thus maintaining the quality in another stores. Did all of it, with knowledge from books and podcasts. I have a degree in BBA. All of my friends are either working in a sub 20K job or preparing for some exams. The point is - College teaches you shit! Go out there, ask for help. Take the opportunity. Work on it. Learn and KEEP GROWING. That's it. No matter what you do. If you are at ZERO, you will only GROW from there.
Not here to criticize Raj. But if you call someone on your podcast, let's listen to his experience. Better not to impose your thoughts on him and get validation on your thinking. If you disagree on something just put your thoughts in front rather than dragging the whole conversation to just one point 'degree'
Degree doesn't make you mature what guest is saying is absolutely incorrect, only life experiences make you mature and that doesn't happen in college. What Raj is saying is absolutely correct that if you have your goal infront of you, work towards it and if you start getting enough money to beat the job from same degree only then you can drop out. It's not an easy decision to make it depends on case to case but I strongly believe that follow passion along with degree until you can see long future with that passion
No degree is important I mean not just degree but you have to learn it, paisa deke degree ka koi kaam nehi.lekin agar par liya to tumko baki line pe skilled up karsakte ho... If you are an athlete then 12th 11th is enough..

Gosh, Raj is being so defensive! Yes, some people without degree (such as Raj) have become sucessful. But most people without degree are unable to find well paying jobs. Raj needs to broaden his sample size. He cannot make himself the reference point.

There is need of centralised system of job... There are no policy followed by companies. Most employees are leading terrible life and facing harassment in jobs and there is no hearing.....
I completely disagree. Im having opinions that join any college get degree but after degree work for good organization and lean at your initial internship. After 4years of work profile nobody ask about college. Employers only ask about work profile

bhai vo fasa nahi hai, he's right go anywhere they ask you the degree. only if you are approaching an individual who dont focus on degree than skills, but it doesnt work the same on large scale hiring.
I also feel degree is important and that too from only top colleges. Jab company kae pas 500 or zyda team strength hote haie then founder cannot select individuals on their own. They need minimum qualification Yh sab skills and all is very important but startup maie hee lagegi job phr
Rohit point is right. Sab raj nahi bante. Koi bhi organisation jab badi hoti hai toh founders resume shortlist nahi karte. HR pehle round mein degree ke basis par shortlist karte hain.
No bro, Rohit has valid point, India has huge population,Not every company and startup has enough money to conduct interview for every candidate in pan India level, so they put degree and cgpa critriea to shortlist candidate, that's it

21:00 NIRF rankings are bakwas in the context of engineering colleges....The speaker is ignorant of many facts....NIRF Rankings are owned by powerful pvt institutions
Ap dono ko johar sir. Ap ke video ke jarye bahut se knowledge Hume milta hai. I love 💕💕💕 your video 📷📸📷📸. Sir
"Thank you for shedding light on the stark realities of the Educational institutions. It's disheartening to see the educational institutions prioritize profit over education."
Kuch toh extra knowledge mil rhi h ❤
I felt the same situation for my university bhartiya skill development universiy which is running on charity but not fulfilling vision of my university founder dr rajendra joshi sir they are running in the name of charity but not providing quality education they dont have mou sign up with reputed companies and they are developing average mindset to students thats the major problem
Sir after having 2.5 years of college experience i can say degree does not make any sense as elon musk also agree with your perspective that he never look for degree even he is a top1% billionaire sir think about it

❤@25:00 raj sir u r 100% right. But yahan log system ko blindly follow karte hain. Sab hyers ko digree chahiye. Halaki college mein kuch bhi nahi sikhate. Inn logo ko digree se kiya milega? Sab digree + Superman chahiye. 😮
thaankss a lott. we want more videos on such related topics.we live in tear 3 .
Great studio set-up chairs are so comfortable that guests can stay for an hour podcast.
For myself this podcast is worth it for me.💯🧠
Raj please wake up to reality. Forget degrees, most jobs ask for post graduation. I have hired more 300 designers and we had to let go of so many talented people cause they didn’t have degrees
Bhooka nahi marta skill hoto job ka kya hai aani jaani chiz hai
Raj bhai… thanks for educating us ❤
Podcast was great ,52 minutes was worth it
Degree brings you strategic way of learning basics in a field. It also puts you on your toes to test your understanding in a subject. You learn variety of subject that are not directly related to your main goal but broader your understanding in multiple areas
Thanks Raj for the Vedio I recently Joined Amity As an Assistant Professor I watched the full video beyond Curiosity.

Especially that colleges who owned by Politicians 😢😢
khatarnak bhai......yekya hai.....😵😵😵😵😵😵😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱
Thank you so much for always new content ❤and very beautiful always your work is very hard 💙 i always support you ❤😊
I only agree 25% with your guest, His stress to obtain degree is wrong.
Iss college mein ....12th stand mein waha....college ke desk par proud karta tha....though...I was considered to be most awaara guy....I beat public school guys...topper of chemistry....thank you to my guru ji and my lab guru ji...who gave me full freedom ......still bow to them...also to my teachers of MBDAV....becos of them I am here
Abe yarr seedhi si baat hai - if you belongs to grade A institute or university toh placement wali job lelo easy access hai. Otherwise, agar tum average jagah s degree leke aaye ho uska koi logic nahi it doesn't make any diff between BA or B tech fiir skill real industry based tajurba chahiye in any segment in india.
Can you do a podcast with criminal lawyer seema samridhi kushwaha about rising crime and failing judiciary system of india and the reality of doing law???😊😊
This is the only podcast channel I found best with it's content❤❤
Degree is not a skill certification anymore. Today, it certifies that you meet a certain criteria with a few minimum expectations. An education degree brings the parity to an individual who can fit in a civil society. It makes the individual fit well with the peers - in a professional or social setup. Mind you, its not a guarantee, but it helps and enables.
All in all - the big problem is that Indian education system no longer produces employable pass-outs.
Rohit is absolutely correct. DEGREE is important. But if you are not getting it from the top universities, Getting it online is a better decision.
Kya milgaya yeh gyan pelkar?
24:55 let me add a scenario here a person who don’t have a degree work on his skill for a year then he somehow able to gain experience in a company don’t matter by working free or through internships but now he have experience of 2-3 year now who you choose a person with degree or this guy
Raj vay, aj consultant ho gaya. Thanks vay. Digree sa kuch nahi hota👍
I should say a degree with skill and knowledge of course should we seek from the institutions.
Because when you go abroad so first check ✅ list is degree.
Your profile is made on your higher qualification.
2. Skills are required because it enhances your career.
3. Knowledge will boost your portfolio.
Raj lives in fairy world where he thinks life is full of roses 😂
Nice podcast bro 👍👍👍
College Vidya Is a great platform I liked 👌👌👌👌👌
You need degree (former dropout here); else:
Another reason I heard from employer:
1. At that age, the only indicator that you can finish something to completion, is a multi year endeavour, is your degree.
Thank you bhaiya aise podcast banane ke liye

Very informative video about the online education thankyou raj sir 😊
While i was in college. I started to learn about business by working in a friend's family business
Year by year i grew my knowledge base by reading books (on execution, systematics, body language, finance, marketing, making deals, sales and many more things).
Degree zaroori nhi hai. You realise it "ONLY" when you make it on your own without the need of a degree
College Vidya! Best MBA options for working professionals
@raj Bhai
I wish your subscribers reach 100 million soon
Bhai ek sachai batau ki NIRF rating bhi khareed li jaati hai 🙁
jobs after mba in yoga should also be one of your podcast .
30:13 Raj is right we don't need degree just need proper skills and education, anyone can buy degree if he/she has money
No degree is important I mean not just degree but you have to learn it, paisa deke degree ka koi kaam nehi.lekin agar par liya to tumko baki line pe skilled up karsakte ho... If you are an athlete then 12th 11th is enough..
My Zomato delivery boy had bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and I gave him 5 stars.
Big fan from Pakistan🇵🇰raj bahi, your podcast added lot of value in life. Thanks❤
35:40 Neatly said!
।। Realty is very cruel
jitna aap subscibe kartey hai hum utna he kamatey hai and aur utne bade he guest attey hai jinko limelight chaiye badey channel ki .
Gosh, Raj is being so defensive!
Yes, some people without degree (such as Raj) have become sucessful. But most people without degree are unable to find well paying jobs.
Raj needs to broaden his sample size. He cannot make himself the reference point.
@35:08....degree is needed in all firms..post getting the degree periodic upskilling is need of the hour.
Wise person, epic line is the purpose of study is make civilization not placement.
MAA Kasam jisne subscribe nahi kiya wo exam me fail ho jaega 😂😂😂😂
Jai Hind,
Raj sir,
.
You can have a conversation with an Ex- Agniveer from the 1st batch of Agnipath scheme.
..
He would like to share all the real problems and issues, agniveer facing across the India.
Because Reality is different than what is shown in the media and by the govt.
L.P.U. Never harm 😅 11:00
Life Mae maturity abhi nay ayee isko
Stop glorifying 70% - Jung jeethlita and all, this is bollywood language glorifying illetracy
Done work bhaiya
Bhai tumhare paas junoon, jasba , aur jaydaat ha too tumha koi dikkat nhi hogi Bina degree ka you will be a king of your present life😊
So thats why Raj is explaining that degree is not important.
25:55 bandaa fass gayaa
Raj is right
bhai vo fasa nahi hai, he's right go anywhere they ask you the degree. only if you are approaching an individual who dont focus on degree than skills, but it doesnt work the same on large scale hiring.
I also feel degree is important and that too from only top colleges. Jab company kae pas 500 or zyda team strength hote haie then founder cannot select individuals on their own. They need minimum qualification
Yh sab skills and all is very important but startup maie hee lagegi job phr
Rohit point is right. Sab raj nahi bante. Koi bhi organisation jab badi hoti hai toh founders resume shortlist nahi karte. HR pehle round mein degree ke basis par shortlist karte hain.
No bro, Rohit has valid point, India has huge population,Not every company and startup has enough money to conduct interview for every candidate in pan India level, so they put degree and cgpa critriea to shortlist candidate, that's it
L
Raj is right degree is not important, manners, etiquettes civilization, ye sub to aapke uper depend karta hai, collg vdya ke founder jii
Aap bhi apni service hi bechne aaye hai 🙄🙄
You're living in a bubble. This is only true in an ideal world. Which unfortunately doesn't exist.
No one should nowadays go for a degree in hotel mgt. if he/she wants to become a hotelier he should just improve his/her communication skills and do a diploma course if one wants and straight away apply for the job and get trained there in whichever dept. he/she is interested .
I was allotted a Government Institute for my nursing studies among 120 government seats and more than 11,000 students applied for it in the 1st round , in Haryana. I was super happy because I worked hard and got a government seat and guess what ! Classes were held in the hostel ! even tho there was a separate Training center exists !! There is no Hostel facility when Hostel fees is included in the overall fee. And there were Only *2* professors !! Can you imagine this ?? ,,,, What do you expect from other private setups when Our own government system is fucked up !
*Your content’s fab bro but as you’ve chosen your channel to be in Hindi, why don’t you also write the texts & captions in our own 🇮🇳 हिन्दी language instead of in favour of English - given we’re lucky that our language has its own Devanagri Script?* - especially considering that according to the latest 2011 Census, 56% of Indians can speak हिन्दी as a 1st, 2nd or 3rd language - compared to only 10% who’re literate in English (which actually fell from 12% a decade ago in 2001).
Kyaa bolraha yeh bandaa who agrees 😂
Online Education ki utna hi kaam hai jitna salman khan ki movies me heroines ka kaam hai.
modern approach to education has two steps
step1 . we need to join a college to get a degree from
step2. we need to find a source to get the learning from ,
thanks you so much ❤❤❤
Har koi video editor nahein banta........ raj uncle
When it comes to private universities, he has forgotten BITS, IIIT and some geniunly good universities but did not forget to mention Amrita university and this amity university, pickup placement stats of these colleges and see
plus NIRF ranking are a scam. they are no good at all
All engineers are employable, company just need to give proper training.
😂 training ke baad to skilled ho jayenge to job mil jayega na
@@TECHYPLP Yes 100%. In India no engineer is employable without training. Mostly lecturers in college are not qualified enough to teach students properly. They lack with knowledge.
Nice and informative video before 2025
Thank you for useful content
