Once they lie to you the trust is GONE. You cannot work for someone who is full of shit.

The ole bait and switch... It's one thing to love your job, it's another when your job doesn't love you. Best get to truckin. Good advice Ken!

This is so challenging, and I'm sorry you've had this happen to you. Like many others have said, make an exit plan from this company, and leave professionally and give notice. In my opinion, it's worth you finding another organization that you fully believe in, with leadership you trust will do what they say they will.
Wishing you the best in your career movement. And to Ken and the team, great work as always. Thanks for being on the journey to help people work better and work with purpose.

I had the same thing happen to me at a previous employment. They would rather make it extremely difficult for people to stay there. Those people would then leave after a couple of years & the company just hired new workers to take their place at a lower rate. Each new wave of workers were given more & more responsibility with the same pay. This made the jobs for those up the ladder so much easier with more money. It irked me, but I loved my job so I stayed. I no longer work there but recently got hired at another company that is 2hrs closer to home (YAY!!!!) & it's in the feild I've been wanting to get into. I'm already happier & I haven't even started working for this new place yet.
Major $ cut too, but I'm still stoked. You have to be where you're appreciated.

So you saw the scam , help propagate it , did nothing to stand up to it and watched evil corporate lords literally rob ypung niaeve folks of their time. They all would have gone elsewhere if they knew they had no future there. People like you who see it and do nothing honestly make me sick.

@@Hoffmanpack nice judgments when you have ZERO idea the conversations I had with management or new hires when I saw what was going on. It's pretty painful when you fall off a high horse.

My regional manager told me he would promote me and told me I would get the promotion if they’re was a vacancy, the guy one step of the ladder above me quit but they transferred some other guy into that spot and my boss told me the regional manager said he doesn’t wanna spend the money on moving me up so I been applying for other jobs

This happened to me a few years ago. But i got revenge. I left the company i was working for right in the middle of their busy season. And a bunch of people followed me out the door after i left. It was hilarious.

This explains why I must reject promotions is that I find them bogus and fraudulent as if my employer cannot harass, belittle, intimidate, infringe, and transgress me over this matter. What is the point when I am better off helping people in my community as an alternative office job I rather have?

My boss lied to me about several things, working conditions and contract of employment. In my country a contract of employment is a basic thing you give your new employees so they know what the rules are and whats expected of you. Another person who started the same time as me received a contract but I havent and when I ask for it he just tells me he's busy.
It's hard to be motivated when your concerns and requests are just swept under the carpet and it's even harder to be open and honest when the other party is not honest with you.
