Watched it when you first made it and returned 8 months later to get inspiration, its truly fantasist and even more so considering the tools that you were not able to access back then. your an artist and probably an Engineer in your day job, thanks for sharing.
Simply amazing. Reminds me of the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel. Kudos for demonstrating what's possible with CS2 vanilla. This was top 3 for me. Can wait to see how you integrate the railway in this crossing.
I love watching CS videos. Among all that I have seen so far, this is a class apart. And considering that you did all this vanilla, without any mods, it is just remarkable. Kudos to you mate. Thoroughly enjoyed this video. Keep up the good work and all the best.
People like you are who make me want to be better on my build on my gaming channel. I can seriously say I have found another great rule model to follow. Thanks for the awesome content!!
Such a cool build! My one piece of feedback is the rail line's gradient is rather steep and if possible it'd look rather neat for the rail to descend earlier than the highway to provide a more gentle slope into the tunnel.
This is absolutely gorgeous work. Incredible design, splendid engineering and marvelous landscaping. This is an instant sub if I’ve ever seen one. Cheers to a beautiful city 🍻
Hi! Brand new here and I'm already blown away and I'm only 34 seconds in. You're voice is soothing and upbeat, your intro was eye catching and the editing is spot on. I Love this
Great series. If you double click the road with the same road type, it adds a node. You don't have to build a perpendicular road then delete it. It is really useful for freeways so you can align exit/entrance lanes, or when you want to upgrade a specific road segment to asymmetrical with a particular length. Thanks for all the great content!
I randomly got this recommended to me, and I just want to say that I would definitely live here. I love the way you made the piers and the attention to detail. Your skills are commendable! Can't wait to watch your other videos. Subbed.
This video was on my homepage and thought it looked interesting to watch so gave it a go and I was not disappointed at all. That has to be hands down one of the best looking tunnel projects I have seen in CS2😃. Your attention to detail definitely shows in this build. Absolutely beautiful dude. New subscriber gained👍🏻
Thank you for the compliment! With over 4000 hours of experience in CS1, I could craft an entire series on what NOT to do. I’ve made many bad layouts, myself, but that’s how we improve. Hang on to that mouse. Something tells me you’re going to need it for your next great build. 🙂😉
Totally agree, you're my favourite city builder. Find your content amazing. And I try to build like you. You give me Inspiration. Keep up the good work 👏 👍
Love the build and video overall but I must say the side with the already standing highway kinda looks like an .. with the intersection down below 🤣🤣 love it
That said, constructive criticism, those decline/incline angles are too steep, especially for trains. 15:05 9.7°, 15:20 16.9° maybe something like Network Multitool slope alignment will come out for CS2 that will help fix this in post. Also 20:50 that other tunnel surround shape is very phallic looking. I put this in a reply instead of main comment so most won’t see this.
Thanks for the comments! We do come back in the next episode to help with that 9% slope and worked it down to 5%. Still too steep, probably, but about the best we could do to get under the water from the point on the island. As for the tunnel shape, completely unintentional and was modeled loosely after the Oresund Bridge tunnel. 😕 Appreciate the feedback!
@@CitySculptorthanks for the reply, yeah I caught that in episode 13 👍🏼. I know it’s a game and you can only do so much. I try to keep my train lines under 3° apparently irl it’s supposed to be 1.5° but could you image the map space required to achieve that tunnel. What you did is a great compromise between game limitations and realism. Keep up the content and I can see you being as big as CPP or Biffa in mere months.
I like this so much really you took CS2 tunnel building to another new level. Actually in real world I've seen in China something very similar to this but this is the first time I've seen something like it in CS2
Haha! Well, it’s a challenge for small channels to get started on TH-cam. But, we’re making great progress thanks to viewers like yourself! Likes, comments, subscribes, they all help. Welcome to the channel, and thank you for the comment! 🙂👍🏼
This was my first video :) I love the toll plaza! I have CS1 and I'm trying to learn those mechanics. Once I get an even better PC, I'll upgrade to CS2. I loved this video! :)
First time here, so don't know how much realism you look at in your builds, but 9% slope for trains is waaaaay to high. 5% is an extreme slope, optimal is 1-3%. For the rest of the vid, liked it. New sub 👍
Beautiful build. Stumbled across this just today. Definitely going through the whole series now. And like everyone else here, curious to know what you're gonna do with the railway tunnel 😅
First video I watched of this channel. I am definitely gonna continue watching. Suggestion: Maybe you could add some (position) lights for the bumpers in the water so that ships can see them at night.
Yeah, I wish there was an easy way to do that. I thought about using 1-lane freeways as the road surface and adding street lights to it. But, it didn't have the rugged, gravel look I was going for. Great suggestion, though!
Thank you! That was the first attempt. I like how Ep 22 turned out too. Fun and challenging to build, but definitely getting the process down. Thanks again! 🙂🙏🏼
yo,,, this is amazing,, ive been searching for genuine amazing cs2 player, ive been watching keralis and cityplannerplays, and founding this channel is just heaven for me,, its so beautiful and neat. keep it upp mann!! im really looking forward into your future video btw this is a little bit selfish of me but i wanted to recommend to you a city design from my country malaysia, you should look up "putrajaya, malaysia" precisely in "taman putra perdana" i think its really beautiful and kinda suits the map you are in
Wooow this came out great !! This gave me a great idea for this map because just like you, I didn’t like the placement of that bridge in the beginning of the game but you need it to get your money up 😂 but definitely going to change the location of that bridge 👍
When I seen the thumbnail, I asked myself "I wonder what mods he is using?".. Amazing build for base Cities Skylines, I didn't think something like this was even possible in the base game.
Your voice reminds me so much of Bob Ross. Please start using phrases like: 'This little bush lives right here' or 'Just a happy little tree right here' :)
Very inspiring video. I liked a lot of the detailing that you did. The only critique is how do you get to those watchtowers from the shore line? Maybe could add a path to one of them for ppl to get to work. I'm actually working on this map now and I have to agree I don't like the starting highway either. Thank you for the amazing video. 😊
**Spoiler Alert** The train line reemerges in Episode 17!
I was wondering why that had been left out, lol
Real Civil Engineer would be so proud of the view at 19:37
Made the strongest shape on earth 😂
LOL ikr
Beautiful build. Everything is so considered. Can’t wait to see what’s planned for the railway.
I loved the whole process.
At one point I was scared when I saw the frame at 19:36 but in the end it became beautiful.
It was truly incredible.
The strongest shape
Coolest CS2 design on TH-cam hands down. Your use of paths and bushes is seriously next level.
Thank you for the wonderful compliment! I’m honored. 🙂
My fear of trains underwater was confirmed by this build… train line to nowhere!
Still… great channel, glad to have found it. Subbed.
Haha! Welcome aboard to the train to nowhere. Maybe we should rename the channel that! 😄😉
So the rail line just ended, right? I didn't miss a spur off to somewhere else? My OCD kicked in a little bit. 😉
That’s what I was wondering. I wanted the train to pop up one the other side.
@@Toms-garden Have no fear! We snuck it into Episode 17. I'm hoping you'll like that solution. 😉
First time viewer and watching this feels like a mashup between overcharged egg and city planner plays.
You earned a sub

Those 32 min. Felt like lightnings to me. What a pleasure to watch 🤌🏼

Holy shit! Just the intro and high quality of this video does no justice of the amount of subscribers
😄 Thank you and welcome to the channel!
Beautiful as usual. Love how you did the toll stations.
Such a cool build! My one piece of feedback is the rail line's gradient is rather steep and if possible it'd look rather neat for the rail to descend earlier than the highway to provide a more gentle slope into the tunnel.
Love this idea. I may have to come back and adjust it in a later episode. 🙂

i love your toll booth setup. It gives “bay bridge” and bay area (california) vibes and i like it
the tool booth is so creative as everything else in the video!
definitely a cs2 content creator to look out for, good job man, was also wondering where you got the music at 23:00
It’s one of the in-game songs on The Vibe channel, I think. 🤔
So happy I found this on accident today. Excellent job, I’ll be sure to watch all of the past episodes.
