In between courses an anounment was made that someone at the feast was not acting like a gentleman and had to pay the price. And wouldn't you know it, it was Mr. Doodle the Travel Bug! He was locked in the Dungeon until he could sin a song for his release.
Established in 1963, the Bunratty Castle Medieval Banquet was the brainchild of local visionary Dr Brendan O'Regan. The idea of medieval banquets came about as a result of the need to give transatlantic passengers a reason to get off aircraft at Shannon Airport, located only a few kilometres from the castle, and tour the local area.
Now 60 years on the Burnatty Castle Medieval Banquets are considered one of the longest running and prestigious dining experiences in Ireland. Enjoyed over the years by international dignities, celebrities, US Presidents and First Ladies, they are a must on any itinerary to Ireland.
Welcoming guests from all over the world, we now invite you to join us for an evening of great Irish music, song, food and merriment in the unique and dramatic surrounds of one of Ireland's most iconic landmarks.
Thanks for sharing this! I was wondering if the experience was worth it, but I will definitely book it now! 😊
What an amazing experience my late husband and I had in 2009. The experience of a Medieval dinner at Bunratty Castle, It was brilliant ,from being handed a cup of Mead ( for me an acquired taste),to the servants, lords and pageantry. We stayed at Bunratty Manor just a cross the road that too was a wonderful experience, Loved looking through the folk park next door and imagining what sort of lives my ancestors must have live. Memories I will never forget
What a special memory! Thank you for sharing!!!

Ireland looks like so much fun
It's changing rapidly with all the planters/fakugees being pushed on us.
Best singer ever.
❤❤❤
Great. looks like you had so much fun. Cant wait to see more of your travels
Castles are always so intriguing. I would bring a real crown and robe to embarrass my family. I am so jealous of your delivery on voiceovers. Live reaction from our channel is better than our voiceovers. You guys really hit the town. Marko grew since the last video. This interactive segment was hilarious. Take me out to the Ball Game 🎶
Off with his head😅!
They would have hung me 🤪 haven’t a clue what to sing and my singing 😳 no one should hear that 🤣
