My wife and I honeymooned in Ireland, and visited the Bunratty castle and attended the medieval banquet. We loved hearing the performers play and sing, take in the company of our fellow diners, and enjoy the tasty treats with our Medieval utensil, as well as learn the origins of mead and the term "honeymoon". I purchased the booklet, CD and a bottle of mead to take with us back home. What an absolute treat! So, did you know that castles ppl only eat with hands and knights train young and a knight’s helmet is about 60 pounds and some castles has moats, a moat is a river that is like a circle around the castle and a moat is very deep and some castle has a bridge, if your the knight you can cross it but is your the enemy the guards pull the rope so the enemy does not cross the bridge.
