Perhaps, BWF should equip the umpire with a replay system (just like how the commentator usually showed us). In that way, the umpire will minimize their misjudging by auto-evaluate their own judging with direct video evidence. And also for services, perhaps, the referee needs to be equipped by the measurement by sensor, so they won't judge the heights of service just by feelings. From the Sukamuljo-Gideo matches I watched, some of their services were deemed fault while their opponents (whom usually taller than them) doesn't have the same problem. Sorry to say, but despite I am a fan of Sukamuljo-Gideon or not, from all the misjudging that the BWF umpires gave to them I can only concluded that BWF tend to defend Europeans players by their standard rather than to Asians players. Or perhaps maybe BWF plays some hidden business too? Well, who knows. I am not the one who can judge.
The indonesian pair has mentals made of steel. This is what we missed years ago before the minions. We got down too fast over psywar and/or losing the points to opponent from our own mistakes and forgot to back up and comeback.

Nonetheless, if you watch 18:18 and 24:32 I don’t think the danes are acting ethical as well... When one of the danes took their time to received the servant from kev/gid, kev/gid never did that... Anyway in my opinion, this match is full of drama and provocations from BOTH sides... it’s unfair to only condemn the minion without weighing the fact that the danes also did some unethical acts...

1. Momen kevin smash dan diprotes conrad, itu karena shuttlecock udah kena lantai, persis sebelum kevin smash (coba liat lagi), dan wasit udah ngomong sesuatu, 'fault' kayanya. Cuma masalahnya, antara wasit ngomong dan kevin smash, itu hampir gak ada jedanya, si kevin udah terlanjur mukul, kayanya sih gitu. Boleh dikoreksi kalo ada yg salah 🙏 2. Di momen warning itu, denmark minta challenge dan wasit mengiyakan. Padahal, sepenglihatan kevin, shuttlecok kena raket denmark sebelum jatuh, mau bola jatuh di dalem atau di luar, poin dong buat minion. Kenapa denmark minta challenge? Harusnya berasa dong shuttlecok kena raketnya. Dan wasit bilang ga liat shuttlecock kena raket lawan. The real issue was that at the end of that 18-14 play in the 3rd game, Conrad raised a challenge on the line judge call, NOT immediately (it's like 3 seconds after the play ended), and the umpire still granted the challenge. Per rule, the challenge has to be raised immediately. The umpire should NOT have allowed that challenge. Conrad knew that it shuttle was in, but wanted to break the opponent's momentum by raising a late challenge. Having said that, Kevin/Gideon could have handled the situation better, but I bet their broken English in trying to communicate that protest to the umpire and referee did not help..
i can see the umpire is biased af toward the danish pairs, but kevin shouldn’t do the thumbdown tho he is pissed, he can get away with it for now because he is still good but idk what is gonna happen if his skill not as good as now on the future
yeah Kevin did unimportant acts on the court, but hey con/pet were also did unimportant trick as well, it just more subtle but annoying the opponents. But Kevin should have controlled himself, still root for them in asian games, go minions.

Kevin is not Jesus, but Danes are not even decent! Just go back checking what happened at 11:11 the 2nd game, easy to find out what kind sportsmanship the Danes hold. The left was just flowing with the current. Kevin thumbed down their opponents was not courteously correct, but Danes' behavior was not ethically correct.

Perhaps, BWF should equip the umpire with a replay system (just like how the commentator usually showed us). In that way, the umpire will minimize their misjudging by auto-evaluate their own judging with direct video evidence. And also for services, perhaps, the referee needs to be equipped by the measurement by sensor, so they won't judge the heights of service just by feelings. From the Sukamuljo-Gideo matches I watched, some of their services were deemed fault while their opponents (whom usually taller than them) doesn't have the same problem. Sorry to say, but despite I am a fan of Sukamuljo-Gideon or not, from all the misjudging that the BWF umpires gave to them I can only concluded that BWF tend to defend Europeans players by their standard rather than to Asians players. Or perhaps maybe BWF plays some hidden business too? Well, who knows. I am not the one who can judge.

1. Momen kevin smash dan diprotes conrad, itu karena shuttlecock udah kena lantai, persis sebelum kevin smash (coba liat lagi), dan wasit udah ngomong sesuatu, 'fault' kayanya. Makanya conrad protes kok kevin smash, kaya sengaja mau ngenain badan lawan. Cuma masalahnya, antara wasit ngomong dan kevin smash, itu hampir gak ada jedanya, si kevin udah terlanjur mukul, kayanya sih gitu.

Padahal, sepenglihatan kevin, shuttlecok kena raket denmark sebelum jatuh, mau bola jatuh di dalem atau di luar, poin dong buat minion. Kenapa denmark minta challenge? Harusnya berasa dong shuttlecok kena raketnya. Dan wasit bilang ga liat shuttlecock kena raket lawan. Kevin kayanya kesel sama sikap ga jujur denmark, dan wasit yang terkesan ga guna/mihak denmark di momen ini, makanya dia ngotot.

The real issue was that at the end of that 18-14 play in the 3rd game, Conrad raised a challenge on the line judge call, NOT immediately (it's like 3 seconds after the play ended), and the umpire still granted the challenge. Per rule, the challenge has to be raised immediately. The umpire should NOT have allowed that challenge. Conrad knew that it shuttle was in, but wanted to break the opponent's momentum by raising a late challenge. Having said that, Kevin/Gideon could have handled the situation better, but I bet their broken English in trying to communicate that protest to the umpire and referee did not help..
That was not the issue. Mads Conrad's racket touched the shuttlecock before it hit the line. The umpire shouldn't have acknowledged the challenge.

First of all, I want to say that the Danes've perfomed an awesome play yesterday 👍👍It was so fun to watch 😍😍. I admit that was absolutely not the best attitude Sukamuljo showed us that time. (And he's getting a warning about it from PBSI). But I'm afraid we can't only blame him in this case, tho. IMO, both players (Kevin and Mads Conrad) are both being very provocative in this match (The Danes : Kicking the shuttle, false accusing, Minions: Showboating, rude 👎 gesture ,etc) . it's just that Sukamuljo played better, that's all. 😅😅 And for Mr. Umpire, in case you've forgotten, there's this thing we called giant screen for you to review 'SOMETHING YOU DIDN'T SEE'. It would've been better for you to look at it first since you had been wasting your time, anyway.😌😌 And for the Tournament referee who threathened to give black card to The Minions at changing room, COME ON😅😅 Have they killed somebody or what?!

Kevin is not Jesus, but Danes are not even decent! Just go back checking what happened at 11:11 the 2nd game, easy to find out what kind sportsmanship the Danes hold. The left was just flowing with the current. Kevin thumbed down their opponents was not courteously correct, but Danes' behavior was not ethically correct.
