I love how Marcus and Kevin have a habit of doing a small handshake after every single point, even if it isn't theirs, to cheer each other up. It's so nice to see their strong bond on the court and how supportive they are of each other regardless of their mistakes.

Dari beberapa video pertandingan kevin gideon yang aku tonton, semuanya menang. Permainannya di awal yaa kayak ngasih poin dulu lah untuk lawan, tapi kalo udah 3 poin the minions epic comeback dong, gamau ngasih banyak banyak poin. Trus kalo misal lawan unggul 3 poin lg, pasti minions bangkit lagi. Suka banget liat permainan mereka

Still not sure if it is allowed or double hit, weird double-motion...but the bwf is unclear on the service rules for eternity i guess..
@@danubhrata that serve is very special, very few people can do that. Or rather, very few people even care to put an effort to do that kind of serve. Kevin serve it with a cut spin so the shuttle swivel in mid air. The receiving end needs to wait for the swiveling to stop first to hit the cork part, but in doing so, they take the hit below the net, so the shuttle will always goes up, giving a chance for Gideon to reply with smash.
What makes the Minions is so good and unmatched is the service. They attack right from the serve, compared with regular MD who starts the attack after the third shot. It's very dangerous because you can't sense that they are taking points because the rally ends very short. You might think that you still had the lead, but it turns out minions are taking 5 to 7 consecutive points just from the serve. Before you know it, the lead was taken.
It is possible to hit a swiveling shuttlecock, but it needs precision, and it's not something nice to rely on a fast paced game like this. The only way to win against minions is if you have better serve than them, or minion's serve suddenly becomes average.
@@Anbugozu There is no double action in the serve, and the feather was not hit as opposed to the banned Sidek's serve. I can't think of any reason why BWF would ban Kevin's type of serve.
Good observation. While the "s-serve" (serve by hitting the feather of shuttlecock) has been banned, this serve is hitting the head of the cock itself but still, it is tumbling. It is one of the "specials" from Kevin.
