Moved from Cat 3 to Cat 2 is the biggest jump in the non pro category!
If you guys are serious about coming to Tulsa, I would love to help! Let me know and I can help with some room accommodations, course preview, general questions about the area, etc. I'm a local cat 3 and it would be awesome to toe the line with you guys in some races.
Love the race chats. Was wondering if there are any workouts which are pulled from a Car 4/5 race to simulate what one needs to finish in the front group. Would like to try one (Cat5) once, just not sure what it would fee like.
Why would anyone want to upgrade to Cat 1? Its only use is for racing Pro crits and Elite nationals. For a masters rider you have no restrictions on what you can ride and can race at the highest level available in the region.
There are some races that are only P/1; which I'd like to try. But 99% of it is just an ego-based self-accomplishment sorta thing. It's like qualifying for Kona...I'm never going to win my AG at Kona but I'd sure like to go there and do it and say that I qualified. -Nate
