Having driven across this junction several times in recent months, it was useful to see what is going on. Thanks.

Thank you for the comment much appreciated. I don’t have a construction background but I study the plans and project info for the comments sections.

Is the red girder bridge to be a pedestrian bridge or cycle/pedestrian bridge?

Nice video but as a user of the M25 regular it has caused traffic CHAOS

Fingers crossed it will be worth it and the damage it has done to Ockham Bites business!

Whilst the work on this junction is superb, why have the road engineers stuck with having a roundabout over the motorway. Surely a full junction with free flowing traffic in all direction like in the US interstate junctions would have been a much better solution. No mater how large they make the roundabout you are still going to have traffic lights to control it and will still have huge tailbacks waiting to enter the roundabout just like you have already. if they had some vision and built right turn flyovers there would be no need for a roundabout at all. Yes they would have to be stacked but I have seen four levels of highway passing over each other in both Canada and the US and the traffic flows freely. But as usual in UK our planners have no vision!!!!

It is only the right turns which will use the roundabout when it is open. The left turns will be free flowing, so coming off the acw m25 onto the a3 north you won’t touch the roundabout

As a regular user of that junction, what an utter waste of money. It might save me oh, about 2 minutes on a journey…….typical waste of public resources.
