    Hi Chris, thank you for your video.
    I was looking for a compressor in Japan for an air tool brought from North America and realized the fittings were not the same. Your video was helpful. Thank you

      @@richardplatko7532 there's places where you can get the adapter, like morrflate, but you can make your own real easy and that let's you use this as an extension as well. And though they're already cheap, if you get one at morrflate, I have a discount code, EVOR. Good for 10 percent site wide. It's not an affiliate link, I make no money on it. But maybe it helps...

      @@richardplatko7532 nah, they support me just fine with test products. They would give me an affiliate link if I wanted one, but I feel like making money by referring you buy something somehow dilutes my words. I'd rather just tell you what works good or doesn't without you thinking I'm just a salesman. I have a great relationship with morrflate.

    SWEET!! Thanks for this video. I think this is the route I'm gonna go so I can utilize the 3/8 tubing for the whole system...and not have to cut up the factory hose for my ALLTOP compressor.

    Thanks for the info, I have a Harbour Freight (Chinese) air pump. I've been wanting to convert to a more standard hose adaptor.

      I have one of those too, the cheaper one that only pumps 1.2 cfm of air... It's Damn near worthless. Check out the gobege compressor on Amazon. 150 bucks and 5.65 cfm. Identical to all the others like the ironman and smittybilt, and it works great. I wish the 2 headed maxi trac would come back on the market, but I don't see any signs of that.

      Yup. We just moved to the upstate in SC to get out of the craziness of charleston. Love the new place, nice small town, closer to the wheeling... Happiness!

    Thanks for the info! I'm hooking up a Chinese made tire machine and need to know the name of the fitting style for an adapter to use with an American compressor. Was able to find one on eBay since I noticed the link you provided is out of stock now. Rock on!

      Ya that was a couple years ago I made that. I should probably go through and update all the links in the comments from time to time. 😁

    I think USA has ARO (aka Milton styple) couplers (fem) and fittings (male) for automotive & industrial pneumatics, while the rest Japan Nitto corp. (not sure about european).

    • @EverymanOverland
      @EverymanOverland  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      That sounds correct, but I'm not an expert either. The good news is that a lot of the compressor suppliers have switched away from the nitto fitting for the US market.

      @@EverymanOverland Be ware ARO has 2 types industrial and automotives. Judging by the shapes one coupler industrial may accept both fittings but please recheck. Nitto otoh has only one for both usage. Cmiww.
