The same thing happened to me, they sent you the wrong wire. 68090861AA is the correct wire and they sent you 68068178AB. Pissed me off Amazon gave me a full refund. I also got that glove box light in my kit for some reason. I used two LEDs back to back for more light and also painted the inside of the housing white to increase light output. I still have to get the correct wire, I was going to order another kit thinking they messed up packing mine, strange that yours was packed the same way. What are they doing down at mopar, must be drinking on the job.

It sucks having the extra wire length, I have not gotten the correct wire yet, they want about $20 for just the wire. I may just deal with the longer one.

I can’t find this part/kit anywhere. Can you please leave a link so I can find this. It’s $80 to buy it separately. And my trucks missing that pigtail you have factory on the firewall. I’ll have to figure that out as well.

Installed the same thing and did the LED upgrade as well. Just wish the LEDs would’ve pointed downward instead of to the left/right.

I know this video is 5 yrs old and i got mine after i seen your video mine flickers cause of the ball or whatever it is to turn it on/off it only does it when the truck is cranked causing vibration of the hood
Check if you can see where the ball is positioned when the hood is open. Check for corrosion.

Also i didn't get the glove box light kit with mine i did buy the kit when i bought the upper glove box upgrade but after i installed the upgrade i found out that my truck don't have the connection wire for a glove box light

Lmao..ya you don't know my wife...lmao...on another note,is it possible to contact you private?...I looked at my truck to add this light set-up and I already have it...what I did notice is that extra wire loom "dingle dangle" button you had leftover at the end of the video was used on mine...the plug connector location you already have is where its at on mine...My plug is located almost straight down below the hood hinge kinda on the inner fender area..looks like the extra wire you had is the amount needed...I could send pics if you like....thats the reason for asking the private contact.I have a '10 laramie,just got it bout 6 months ago....sorry this post was so long.

@@HOTDAMN My First Ram was a 2003 Dodge RAM, 1500 Quad Cab Laramie 2WD with the 5.7 Hemi. Was still under the Dodge name then and this was the First Year with the 5.7 Modular Hemi. I put lots of performance items on it including dual-exhaust, cold air-intake and Hypertech Programmer. Loved that Ride for some 14 years and now I needed 4WD to survive Northern Michigan winters!!
