✨Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Muffins: lovelylittleki... 🍪 (BE SURE TO ADD 1 CUP of CHOCOLATE CHIPS & sub 1 stick of butter for the coconut oil) 🍪
✨Ham and Potato Bake:
8-10 peeled and diced red potatoes
1 Ham Steak, diced
1 Can Cream of Chicken
1 8oz bag of shredded Colby Jack cheese
Place diced potatoes in a pot of cold water. Bring to a boil. Boil for 10 minutes. Drain. Pour into baking pan, along with diced ham steak, cream of chicken, and cheese. Mix. Bake covered at 350° for 50 minutes. Remove foil and bake an additional 10 min until top is bubbly and browned.

Thanks so much!! It takes a village to raise a child. If more people was like you it be so much easier on foster family's. All children our precious and deserve a chance in life, deserve a family a home. Some fostering is tuff though it can be a heavy load to carry alone as a family. Their's a piece to the puzzle that everyone can be a part of to put it all together for the family's that sacrifice so much. These kids are our future .

I grew up as a foster child and my siblings all went to other homes ! It was a VERY traumatic experience however now that I am older with children and grandchildren I’m ever so thankful for being raised in a Christian home ! I often wonder where would I be if I had not been cared for by my foster parents ! 💜💜

Meghan what an uplifting inspiring video!! So excited to hear you talk about foster care and adoption. My husband and I fostered several children back in the early 90’s and honestly thought we were going to adopt a 2 year old but some of his family were in wanting to adopt him so that did not work out. Broke our hearts into a million pieces. But the Lord brought us through that and in 1996 we adopted the most beautiful precious wonderful little baby boy. And then two years later adopted his half brother. It has been an awesome adventure. They are so smart finished college both working but most of all and more important than anything they both love the Lord with all their heart and soul and are always ready to help serve others. I’ve seen them in action. And now since watching this video I am ready to even serve more myself especially knowing what God has done for me and how He served others. You are an inspiration Meghan and encouragement to me. I’m so glad I found your channel. There’s a SAVE A LIFE program here and I’m going to quit saying I want to help and just DO IT!! Love you all♥️ Praying for those foster families you are continuing to help 💕

Not having a lot of luck sadly as hers is a closed adoption...
It think it's really amazing what you are doing and I'm sure it is a real blessing for the people receiving a lovely meal and yummy snacks.
Though I've been called a fool and told I was just being scammed 🤔 I normally give the people with signs a bit of money, it's never a lot but I just feel like we never really know what people are going through and even if it is in a small way that I can help them I do. We all need a little help sometimes. As you said it's the small things that even just bringing a smile can help them through the darkness. Even knowing that someone takes the time to try and care can be a true blessing and really amazing 😊

I also wanted to mention if you have the freezer space, Aldi puts hams on sale about .97/lb before Easter and Christmas and it's a great deal to buy a few.
My mom and dad started with foster care when I was 2. They cared for over 32 children.

You all like that try a box of elbow macaroni, diced up ham, either cream of celery or mushroom or both depending on size of fmly, milk of 1 can, I small bag frozen peas...mix together and bake 350 for 30 min with foil over top..then take foil off..coat with Colby jack cheese bake till cheese is melted n bubbly( depending on how much pasta u might have to bake a little longer and u most definitely can pre cook the noodles

Love seeing you imitate your toddler's sounds back to her (I'm a speech pathologist and love child language development although I currently work with adults in a medical setting).
I've been thinking lately about seeing if I could take meals to foster families. I love cooking and giving meals and food to others.

My area is opening a thrift store that will benefit foster children and families. My brother was also adopted and I know two families in my church who adopted, one who adopted their foster child after two years

Really enjoyed watching you this morning. Such a nice thing to do for those hardworking families. Just wondering if a whole chunk of ham might be more economical for a large scale recipe such as this. I’ve seen them in sams club near the meat and deli meats. I don’t like freezing ham , but I guess you could even adapt a small recipe with part of the ham and freeze the rest. 🤷♀️. Wish I could have been in your kitchen to help chop and mix. Take care

Definitely meant to add green beans to the bags, but my brain forgot them! Also was going to pick up fruit for the muffins, but Jojo was sick and I didn’t make it to the store the day of delivery. Next time!

I think 10 minutes to whip the butter and sugar together is way too long in my personal opinion and I use the toll house recipe and I just like to mix it together and it works out every time for me without the extra mixing

My kids are in foster care at this time and we are fighting to get them home.

As a child I grew up in many Foster Homes. Most of the homes were not doing it for the kids it was for the money yes they get paid . Only two of the homes treated me good all the others were horrible. People love your own kids because no one will love them like they do there own . I think Foster Care is horrible .
