So what did we learn this week. Star Citizen OST is absolutely amazing, chiffmonkey is an absolute lad when the music maker himself goes to this youtube channel during live streams to reference his music, and Pedro Camacho is a damn good composer. For all of us at Inside Star Citizen, I'm Jared Huckabee, see you all next week.

Bro you couldn’t say that any better. You can learn a lot getting into this.

Let’s hypothetically say that squadron 42 actually comes out.
Imagine the intro is you being woken up in a bunk in a massive space carrier with blaring alarms and being told to rush to the hanger with a timer until launch at the top of your screen. You make it to the hanger and see tens of ships all lining up to be shot out into space. You make it to your cockpit and are launched into space with everyone else just as this music’s beat drops and as the clock reaches 0s. The space in front of you is pitch black but 3 seconds later it gets filled with thousands of lasers flying past you. That’s when you start seeing all the enemy targets show up on your radar. The fight proceeds as does the music. When the music ends, your ship is automatically shot by the enemy battlecruiser’s lasers and you fall into the atmosphere of a planet that the fight is taking place in orbit around. The screen pans out to show that it was all a recording on a marine’s visor and you are in a briefing room with other marines watching the screen.

The intro is the Battle of Vega II between Bishop's fleet and the Vanduul. You know in the trailer with the player talking to McLaren (Gillian Anderson), that's the start of the game before the battle.

I know Squadron 42 is some time away... but it's music and the detail that every conceivable mode that Star Citizen currently offers has me very faithful that S42, once released, will inspire many people to buy a PC or equivalent gaming system for S42. I can see the reviews already. WING COMMANDER 6: AKA SQUADRON 42: 10/10 IGN, PCGamer, etc... +bonus points for using dual sticks, throttle, HOTAS, and eye tracking.

I'm pretty sure most of the CIG team has been working on Squadron 42 for a while, so SC probably isn't even getting half of what 42 probably already has right now. I'm assuming that most of the tech we've seen for SC in the past few years have been tech that's been established in Squadron 42 for a while now and it slowly works it's way into Star Citizen's persistent universe with hundreds of players on each server and persistent assets, which is much more difficult than actually making these systems function offline.

Is this confirmed Pedro? It really has a cinema tone to it. I could imagine this being in Sq42.

Battle for Centauri is part of the Tevarin war:
      robertsspaceindustries.com/comm-link/spectrum-dispatch/13970-This-Day-In-History-Battle-For-Centauri
So I think this is totally from Pedro and done for Star Citizen as one of the soundtracks of the Centauri system.

It almost sounds like Ace Combat. Fitting, considering how they are both games disguised as flight sims.

This track isn't copyrighted by TH-cam, as you can see in the description. As long as it's here you won't get any official strikes. Star Citizen's soundtrack is pretty niche for TH-cam to care.
