First saw Ethel's in 1975 and it still had the ribbing off the ship. My Mum and Dad and friends used to camp back in it in 1949. Now there's hardly a piece of ribbing left. Not a good wave to surf as it closes out, odd rare good day on your way to other places facing West.
I'm not sure 10 broken boards is a testament to the power of Ethel's or an indictment of crappy surfboard glass jobs. Great Ethels' session regardless guys! Fun had by all, no doubt.
