Love the dining room. It just needs a pop of color. For the door knocker chairs, they have fabric paint in various colors you can try. I went with navy blue, sea green and purple(dark and lavender or lilac)and those colors look fabulous when mixed with white, gold and/or silver. Just a thought. Great video and great advice.
Thank you for sharing these tips, I’ve realized I’m the same way with liking pieces. We bought our house in January I’m making mood boards for each room and taking my time buying furniture.
I used to be so into glam and mirrored furniture and that is no where near my style today. I’m glad I didn’t end up purchasing those things because I would be trying to sell them now 😩
Wow! This video was beyond helpful and reassuring to me right now. I moved into my new home 6 months ago. We have similar styles or at least similar what we think our style is lol - that “I like glam, I want glam! But then again I don’t want my house to look like one big shiny mirror. Contemporary seems stylish and timeless, too” Whew this video was a brain dump for me. Thank you so much!! As much as I’m itching to fill out spaces (like that darn formal living room that we are not going to use) and make my home feel cozy I am going to continue to take my time, one piece at a time. ❤️❤️

This was helpful! We are taking all of our old stuff though. I think it’s safer to have it and then find out you don’t need it or it won’t work, then the get rid of it and then have to to buy something like it all over again. Other than that...let me get my Pinterest boards together lol
