Lovely job Ryan, have to say I’d have been bricking it getting that top unit in! Great one for the portfolio though and hopefully a healthy margin 😉. Just bought myself a uscribe jig, check them out, hopefully gonna save loads of time.
Cheers Darren, haha the top unit wasn't too bad tbh, about a minute or 2 and it was in. Yep, we never get a chance usually to take good pics as the light disappears after 4pm! Will defo look into those scribes for sure!!
Top job Ryan ,really like the clean look of that unit. I’ve just started using the Trend Easyscribe Scribing Tool from tool station ,really impressed so far. Also that sonic boom was unbelievable,we heard it all the way over in Romford .
Massive beast bookshelf. Lovely clean finish. I must be going deaf, couldn't hear the boom (single earpiece) got a timecode for it? I used to live near Concorde factory in Bristol, booms quite frequent when at junior school in 60's. But that was nothing compared to space shuttle re-entry in Florida. 20x louder at least !!
Hi John Thank you, yes nice clean lines and chunky feel to this one 1👍 I edited this vid with over the ear headphones 🎧 and its sounded soo loud. I just watched the vid back at the sonic boom part on my phone, and it wasn't as loud as I thought it would be. Turn up the volume at around the 13.47 mark and it should be there. Quite cool living near concorde ! I'd love to hear the shuttle though, might have to be on the bucket list 👍👍
I get you 👍 The Cladding was a bit wonky tbh, not level in places and different size gaps between. I think if they all.lined up then possibly wouldn't notice there was panelling behind?👍
Hi Ryan Another great vid I recently got one of the 16 inch fans to put in a small Paint booth How are you venting yours Are you using a reducer Mine got to go through a brick wall Any suggestions Graham
We go to cutting edges workshop in watford, always top quality material and cutting! Yeah I need to buy one of those scribing tools and they probably are much quicker and less marking out
@@thelondoncraftsmanworkshop yeah they're good as come in a pack with a number of offsets. Recently got a Graco ultra and gxff but trying to find the best way to setup temporary spray booth although I'd love to be able to have a space like yours. I'm thinking of using a single 14" can then maybe making something like Peter Millard's version on a desk or maybe in a downdraft table. Also I asked previously how come you biscuit rather than Domino? Thanks Sam
Another nice job. the clean simple lines of your design really complement the timber frame of the house. Thanks for sharing.your work with us
Thank you, it was a very satisfying job to both make and fit. I always enjoy using birch and that was the perfect house for it
Cracking job.
Great work guys! Stunning house too. Lucky clients! Love the glue-lam beams
Thank you.
I agree, really lovely house and glue lams are amazing too!!
Nice work man, looks like that took some planning.
Thanks!
The trickiest part was getting the two upper units to look like it was all one unit, and the 2 sets of 12mm worked a treat 👍👍👍
Great vid. Thanks.
UScribe are very good Ryan, definitely save you a lot of Time on your installs!
Very nice job lads. Attention to detail as usual. Nice house!
Peter Millards channel has a video about those scribes.
Thanks Allan!
I'll take a look, I do need to get some, they look really handy!

Nice work! How do you actually secure the scribed trims and kicker to the bookshelf?
Thank you.
We just fix them through the carcass but hide the screws behind a shelf or door hinge 👍👍
@@thelondoncraftsmanworkshop makes sense now you mention it, thanks a lot!
Lovely job and house, are they having a ladder installed for the top shelves?
Thank you.
Yes I think they are looking into getting a ladder, or possibly us making a ladder 👍
Great work, as some one with a bit ocd, not having the shelves line up with the lines of the cladding on the wall would drive me insane
I get you 👍

Hi Graham thank you🙏
I just cut a hole through my stud wall the same size as the fan, with just the lip of the casing screwing onto the wall 👍👍
Nice job lads, top workmanship and looks the business, where did you source the grey plastic door push openers Ryan ?.
Hi I think they can be found on ebay, push catches i believe 👍👍
@@thelondoncraftsmanworkshop I will take a look, cheers pal 👍
No probs, I also just added a link in the description in case. 👍👍
@@thelondoncraftsmanworkshop thanks Ryan, appreciated.
What happened when putting the second but up 🤣 no video?
Cracking job through
I did in the smaller screen/footage, I guess i could have made that part bigger on the screen
@The London Craftsman haha ok - I thought you might have dropped it
😀
Haha no, that would have been game overtime! 😅Its trying to juggle the work and the filming whilst trying to complete the job in time, its tricky.
@@thelondoncraftsmanworkshop just seen it - well done!
I use swanky scribe which I think it's good

How is the client going to access the upper shelves?!
They were looking for a ladder online but if not then I could make one for them 👍
Have u built a bed base to match wardrobes?
I have once or twice, but only with a painted finish over mdf
If u do any more that would make a good video to see a brill finish
