Excellent series on the technology of the classic engine. After two years of trolling and looking at hundreds of how to vw engine videos, this is by far the best series. My daughter and I are rebuilding engines on our 72 bus (type 4 engine) and 71 (type 1) super beetle. One minor comment on this video (and perhaps others). When you describe TDC and show notches on the crankcase pulley, the camera angle makes it hard to see how the notches align with the case joint. Suggest to hold up a ruler that show alignment of pulley notch with crankcase joint. I did this with my daughter and it was helpful.
