Very good presentation. I left Highland in 1976 after graduating from MHS. I would love to go back to visit and see all the changes that have occured over the years.
Dave and Amys is an excellent restaurant. Two thumbs up to your uncles place. I-75 is a little tricky to get to from Highland/White Lake. There is no real straightforward path. Highland Rec and Pontiac Lake is a big draw for the area along with a fair amount of Equestrian activity. My friend was complaining about Huron Valley Schools due to school of choice. Not sure if there is any merit to that though.
Thank you for that comment! I’m sure Dave would be happy to hear it. Very true about the attractions. I’ve heard it both ways about Huron valley schools.
thank you , bro :) I like White Lake , do you think it's possible to find a job there , knowing English+Russian , maybe teaching or a travel guide for tourists etc , cheers!
Thanks for watching! It’s possible to find a job, just keep in mind both these areas are smaller (more rural suburbs) compared to larger cities like Troy, Detroit, Ann Arbor, Rochester/Rochester hills where the headquarters for several corporations are located, but what’s great about these areas is the proximity to other locations. Wixom for example is a HUGE hub for businesses and that’s a 20-30 minute commute from these two areas.
Which one is better? 🤔

Thank you Kevin! Definitely has changed even in the last 5-10 years. Are you still around the Metro Detroit area?
