Really like your teaching style - particularly the repetition of the key points, as not all the content can be remembered, but at least the main ideas can. Thanks!
13:19 Qb3 is a blunder, because white is giving a free bishop, not only this but if white decides to play Qxb7, the game is completely lost, the move that you are looking for is Qa4+
Thanks for making these videos! I've been trying to learn the Alekhine as black, and these videos have been super helpful. Though not too helpful since all my opponents deviate from theory in the first three moves :P My last opponent played 1. e4 Nf6 2. Qf3? lol
Just answer with 2...e5 or 2...c5 and you can transpose into a version of a standard kingside defense, but a version in which the white Queen will be awkwardly placed.
I prefer that black aim for an early e5 and if white pushes to d5 then the black knight goes to e7 and black actually has a decent King's Indian type of set-up and will play f5 very soon.
What's the point in 13:19 after b4 by white Nxb4 Qb3 not just playing Nxd3 ?? I think white's pretty much giving a piece there. Qxb7 by white does not win any other thing other than a pawn because Ne7. After Nxd5 by white, there still doesnt seem to be anything to worry about as black, we're still up a piece. Anyone help?
Qxb7 black now has to give up the c8 knight to save rook but yes black is better since after Nxd6 cxd6 Bxd6 Qxd5 Nb4 attacking the queen Queen b3 Nc1 forks the rook and the dark square bishop
Awesome channel!! :) Any chance of updating this board and pieces. Much better option that are more visually appealing. Just a suggestion...but great content 👍
Almost first... The Scandinavian a weird opening among all openings Black is at least -0.70 to over -1.0 for the longest time. If you don't crush black early on they start to get comfortable.
18:17 cxd6 line begins
Sorry for another typo on the video. I should get a spellcheck for this:) It should sad "Example"

13:15 b4 Nxb4, Qb3 Nxd3! and black is up a piece.
After nxd5 Bxd3 Qxd3 Qxd5 dosen’t that just win a piece as well

really like the channel bro:D learned alot and keep it up! One thing thou, could u flip the board when doing openings for black? ^^
Would recommend to swap sides according to the colour of the opening
Because it’s a little hard to understand
i need to win against a 1800 in the alekhine as white next week, i like it this way xD
@@joerjon did you win in the end?
@@greenamigothegamer6289 I drew but he’s like 80y/o and says he is max 1700 and he is only still 1800 because he didn’t play in a very long time

Thank for the instructive videos, but why you chose a BLITZ game Shirov-Dubov to express your 5...cxd6 preference?
where are you from?? you accent is so cool :))
Croatia. he is Agadmator neighborhood, he is the one who teaches him who to make TH-cam videos 😜
But all in all good information and depth to lines and variations
My best OTB game yet in the exchange alekhine. My opponent was rated 2050 FIDE, and this was my first win with black against a 2000+ rated player.

Why is the fianchetto setup a better option for black after 6. Be3 than after 6. Nc3 ?
